بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمانِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ ~١~

Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree. ~1~

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ~٢~

And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? ~2~

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ~٣~

The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. ~3~

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ~٤~

The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. ~4~

سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ ~٥~

Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. ~5~
