Damian was sitting on the ledge listening for any crime. As he listens, his mind can't help but wonder why has Bruce taken it too far. Yes, Red Hood did try to kill the penguin. But to litery beat your son close to death that too much.

"What the hell happened to this family?" Damian asked

"Well, for one thing, Batman" a voice said, Damian chuckled.

"Hi, cassie." Damian turns to the blond amazon.

"Ok, no offense, are you sure you're blind."

"Yeah trust me." Damian likes Cassie, she is the only one that truly got to know him. "So how is the team doing?"

"Good, well Connor and I broke up." Cassie said

"Why?"

"It wasn't meant to be. How about you, have you dated anyone?" Cassie asked. Damian was silent, he dated before but mostly girls wanted him for being rich. Things didn't work well with Raven; she believed his brother was telling lies and cheating on him with Beast boy. Cassie sees Damian's expression then remembers Raven. "Oh shit I'm sorry."

"It's ok."

"No, it's not what she did was awful. I give a fuck what your brotehr said. She had no right to cheat on you." Cassie said. She gave Raven one hell of a beating for cheating on Damian.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome. How Jason, my sister told me what happen."

"He is doing alright physically. Mentally he is healing, emotionally he's hurt." Damian said.

"Well no shit his own father beat the hell out of him."

"For no reason Cassie, Jason did nothing wrong. It was all a misunderstanding. Father no Batman have gotten sloppy and almost killed his son."

"How?"

"Because he would know Penguin wasn't dead. If he checked hard enough then he'll know. But he didn't, he half assed it. Then accused Jason of killing the penguin."

"Boy, I bet everyone was pissed."

"Yeah, except drake."

"Are you kidding me. Tim wasn't at least angry?"

"No, he even defends Bruce's action." Cassie was shocked then angry. How could Tim condon this? "I'm sorry you have to hear this."

"Don't be it good to know" Cassie grabs Damian's hands. He smiled and she smiled back. They stood for a min then Damian heard the sirens. "Go, look like your needed."

"Yeah, uh before I go you wanna hang out sometime?" Damian asked nervous

"Uhh, yeah..I Mean yes I would love to." Cassie said blushing.

"It's a date. Well not like a date date. But if you want." Damian stuttered.

"Yeah, it's just two friends hanging out."

"Yeah,"

"Yeah, I see then." she flew off.

"Yeah. I see you then" Damian said, "Mom can't know I embarrassed the crap outta myself.
