To say Raven and Damien had been through a lot is an understatement.

They had died, been tortured and cast out. Due to that they got closer.

Raven was halfway through her meditation, when she felt a shiver. She stopped and ran out of her room, attracting everyone's attention.

She called everywhere for Damien but couldn't find him, so she resorted to using telepathy to see where he was and read his mind. It took a few seconds but she managed to locate him.

He was having a mental break down on a hill not that far away.

Raven instantly teleported with the team to his location.

Damien was startled and backed away. "Great now I look even more pathetic" he muttered.

"Hey what happened?" Raven asked, hugging him.

He looked ashamed as he spoke. "I've been having nightmares about you dying and I've been frustrated with myself because of how weak I am"

"I don't think I should be around the team" "I'll only be a burden and an obnoxious jerk"

They were all silent. Nightwing broke it by slapping Damien hard on the back. "Ow!""What was that for you prick?!"

beastboy followed suit by transforming unto a monkey and screeching so suddenly. Damien was quite bewildered and could only laugh.

Raven spoke up. "We're here for you, ok?" Damien nodded.

Starfire clapped her hands. "Wonderful!" "You're finally opening up!"

"I guess" Damien said shrugging. All of a sudden kid flash appeared with pretzels and popcorn. "Don't know about you all, but I'm damn hungry!" They all grabbed some and watched the sunset.

Starfire spoke again. "Looks like we all need a break" "We'll be back to work in a few weeks" "Other heroes will fill in for us"

Everyone agreed, while blue beetle said to Damien, "Don't sweat it" "You're not a bad person and you'll keep on learning" "You're just a kid"
