There are never enough

pictures snapped on the roadside

year after year.

Dressing in a nice shirt,

bonus points if it's blue,

and driving to a perfect spot

to sit in a field of wildflowers.

Dodging bees and not crushing the blooms

waiting for the click of a camera

and embracing these seasonal gems

bluebonnets and indian paintbrushes.

A wild sea of blue and white petals

with the occasional splash of orange and yellow.

Bluebonnet pictures mark time passing.

Some with bows and young smiles

others with headbands and braces,

and always the pretty blue flowers.

Always to be viewed and never picked

and remind us spring is here.

Hey everyone!!! I love Texas wildflowers. It's always so fun to see bluebonnets on the side of the highway in the spring when you drive by. There's just something magical about these little blue flowers and finding the biggest wildest patch to take annual photos in. Let me know what you think!!! I love hearing from you.
