I awoke to the sound of Chou's voice, whining at me. I simply turned over in my bed to look at the platinum blonde mastermind with a frown. It took me a second, in my tired state, to realize she was in my room.

I gasped in shock, quickly sitting up as Chou laughed at me. "Finally, you're up! It's kinda bad to be a deep sleeper somewhere like this, Akira-chan. You could be killed, and I like ya, so that'd suck."

"W-what're you doing here?" I asked, still surprised at her sudden appearance. The only time I'd seen her in person was at the class trial, clearly she was usually somewhere else to watch over everything.

"Well, someone else has gotta die soon, and I just wanted to see ya before you're probably killed." Chou replied with a simple shrug, then twirled around a strand of her blonde and red hair. "I'd hate to see you go, but you'd be an easy victim. Almost too easy."

"Please don't talk like that... I don't wanna die..." I muttered, letting out a small sigh.

Chou just sat down next to me with a grin. "Just being realistic! I'll be surprised if you live. I like surprises, please surprise me." She giggled again, before leaning closer. "Hey, do you like surprises too?"

I leaned back. "D-depends on the surprise... I guess."

Chou tilted her head, and seemed to study me. Under her fierce golden gaze, so close to me, I felt my cheeks growing a little warm. "Hmm, you really are a weirdo, Akira-chan." She smiled again. "Didn't I stab your friend? And trap you here? You're still being nice and shit, you got Stockholm syndrome or somethin'?"

"Maybe...?" I replied, unsure of myself. What she was saying was true, after all. "You just... don't seem all that bad, I guess."

Before I knew what was happening, Chou had pressed her lips against mine. Needless to say, I was shocked to the core. I froze, not knowing what to do, as my face felt like it was on fire. The person who should've been my enemy, was kissing me.

She soon pulled back, letting out a light laugh. "Didja like that surprise?"

"I-I..." I stuttered, staring at her wide eyed. I had no idea how to react, how does a person even react to that? I quickly looked away from Chou, deciding that the floor was quite interesting.

"Silly silly Akira-chan, your friends'll be so disappointed in you. You just kissed a murderer, oh my!" Chou faked a shocked gasp. "You may as well just be the traitor!"

"Y-you're not gonna... s-say anything, right?" I asked, then shook my head. "W-what am I saying, I didn't do anything, it was you!"

Chou only laughed, standing up. "But ya liked it, didn't ya~?" Before I could respond, she turned her back on me. "Gotta go do some mastermind stuff, but I'd love to chat later. See ya~!"

When she left the room, I just stared at my wall, amazed at what had happened. Chou was correct in it being a surprise, but I wouldn't let myself get so caught up on it. She was just messing with me, and I knew that, but still... they say your first kiss stays with you forever. I wouldn't be able to just brush this off.

It wasn't but a few minutes later when I heard Chou's voice again, but this time, on the speakers. "Ooh, looks like I didn't have to give any extra pushing this time! A body's been discovered, way to go~!"
