People can't find the corpse to trigger the trial.

You get away with murder. But you can't escape. You just kill someone.

Also, you could kill someone, then cook and serve the corpse. You still could probably be found out though.

I'm sorry, I had this idea when I remembered this one Oumasai fanfic where Ouma tries to vore Saihara, but fails and dies, then Saihara tries to hide Ouma's dead body by shoving it up his ass, but he gets caught by the other students with Kokichi's dead body's leg up his ass and gets executed.
