Mikey burst out laughing and pointed towards another sentence of the book in his lap. Everyone looked to where he was pointing and began laughing as well.

"His excuses were... creative" Lancer mused.

"'I got stuck in the freezers at the grocery store and couldn't get out' how'd he even think of that!?" Dash exclaimed.

Wait, I remember when he used this one! 'I woke up in a pissy mood and decided to sleep it off for all of your sakes'" Elizabeth read.

Kwans eyebrows furrowed. "I feel like that one was true..."

Everyone began reading excuse after excuse.

"'My bat got the flu'"

"Again, that's probably true..."

"'Infinity war left me too sad to get up'"

"Same tho..."

"'I forgot school was a thing'"

"That one is my personal favorite and once again, is probably true"

"'I got poisoned by my mothers awful cooking'"

"Again, TRUE!"

"'It was rainy'"

"'I got lost'"

"'I was sick of seeing everyones faces'"

"That was freaking hilarious" Tucker said.

"'The sun was too much for me today'"

"What are you guys reading?" Everyone jumped, looking towards Danny who had just phased through the ceiling. He was holding his side.

"All of your excuses for the past year. So please, do tell us why you're late this time" Star asked.

"I got in a ghost fight and is currently losing an unsafe amount of blood. I may pass out soon"

Everyone stood up, alarmed. Sam grabbed the bandages and Elizabeth forced him to sit down.

"You guys wrote down all of my excuses?"

"They were too good to just forget"
