Dash jumped up, the sound of crying was what had awoken him from his slumber. He felt a hand softly hit against his chest. He looked down at his husband, Danny. Both of his eyes were still closed.

"Your turn" Danny mumbled tiredly. Dash knew what he meant. He bent down and kissed his lovers cheek. He quickly, but quietly, got out of bed, slipping on his slippers. He softly walked out of their bedroom and made his way down the hall, the crying becoming louder.

He opened the door to the nursery and walked over to the crib.
"Hey bud, it's okay daddy's here" Dash whispered softly as he picked up the crying one year old. He sat down in the rocking chair next to the crib and began to gently hum while rocking back and forth.

Soon, the crying stopped but the baby refused to fall asleep.
"DJ, you gotta go to sleep bud" Dash raised his eyebrow when DJ cooed something that sounded suspiciously a lot like 'No'

"Papa" DJ continued to say papa. Dash smiled.

"Fine fine. We'll go see Papa, ok?"

DJ smiled and continued to say 'papa' until they reached the bedroom. Dash walked inside and, after taking his slippers off, sat down on the bed. DJ crawled off of his lap and made his way towards Danny.

Danny sat up, immediately smiling when he saw his son.
"Hi buddy! Couldn't fall asleep?" Danny picked him up, DJ wrapped his tiny arms around Dannys neck and rested his head on his shoulder.

"Papa" DJ continued to coo. Danny smiled, rubbing DJs back soothingly. Pretty soon the quiet blubbering stopped.
"He's asleep" Dash whispered, smiling softly at his little family.

He got under the covers and scooted next to Danny.
"You're amazing" Dash said, leaning over to give Danny a kiss.

"How so?" Danny smiled and gladly took it. Dash then kissed DJ on the forehead, careful not to wake him.

"You're the only one who can actually put him to sleep, Love" Danny blushed at the nickname, causing Dash to smile. Danny carefully leaned back so he was laying down again, making sure not to disturb DJ.

"Let's go back to sleep, everyone's gonna be here at 10 tomorrow" Danny mumbled tiredly, closing his eyes. Dash gave him one more kiss on the lips before giving DJ another kiss on the cheek.

He laid down next to Danny and DJ. He wrapped his arms around them and pulled them closer. They were both fast asleep.

"I love you"
