"What's for dinner? I'm starving!!!", Stephen shouted from his room.
" I'm making dinner this evening, it's going to be a surprise!", I called.
"Thanks, Ann!"
I was staying at Daniels's house for a week and after me cooking for three days now with everyone liking my food, Stephen was satisfied with my answer.
I looked back at the food and continued.
"Hi, Ann! Watcha doing?", I heard next to me.
I smiled at Dan, placing the meal into the oven.
"Isn't it obvious?"
Dan smiled too.
"Thank you, Ann. While hosuh is not here, we're usually eating just pizza and stuff Stephen bought...."
He wrapped his arms around me, cuddling me.
I giggled.
"Dan, no!!! I'm making dinner!!!! Let go!!!"
"I'm not that hungry", he said and started tickling me.
I squeaked and tried to push him away.
He held me closer to him and stroke through my hair.
"I'm here because I wanted to tell you-"
"I'm home, motherfuckers!", Jay shouted.
"Hi, Jay!" Stephen came out of his room.
Dan sighed.
"God damn it."
I was blushing, Dan was so warm and it felt so good...
Secretly, I had a crush on Daniel for almost a year now and I hoped so much that he'd like me, in the same way I like him...
Dan turned his attention back to me.
"I wanted to tell you that I'm really thankful for everything you're doing for me...and I wanted to thank you with... dinner, maybe? I can't cook, so we could go to a restaurant together...but it's fine if you don't want to..."
I looked at him in surprise.
Dan was blushing a bit, his eyes were full of hope.
I smiled happily.
"Did you just asked me out on a date?"
"...Yeah, I guess so...so, do you want to go out on a date with me?'
I hugged him tighter.
" Of course!"
"That's so sweet! Look at them, Jay! Why don't you hug me and do romantic things for me?"
Stephen and Jay were standing in the hallway, looking at us.
"Because I'm tired?"
"You're just using me, but when I want anything, you're tired!", Stephen shouted.
Jay sighed.
They stared at each other in anger.
"You know that I'm bad at romantic stuff, Stephen! Leave me the fuck alone!"
"You're the worst boyfriend ever! I quit, asshole!"
Stephen went into his room, slamming the door behind him.
Jay looked at us.
"What shall I do...?"
"Apologize", Dan answered calmly.
Jay followed Stephen and knocked at his door.
"Stephen, please...I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..."
I looked at Dan, worried.
"Should we do something?"
Dan smiled.
"Don't worry, it's not the first time that they argue about that. Just wait."
We waited quietly.
Jay knocked at Stephens' door again.
"Stephen...? You have to give me time to change myself a bit, okay? I'll be a better boyfriend, I promise! Can I have another chance?"
I heard the door open.
"I love you, please, believe me, Stephen..."
"You are cheating on me all the time", Stephen said with a cold tone in his voice.
" Yes, I admit it! But I only love you...the other ones are just toys, replacements when you're not there...Please, honey,
I don't want to lose you, I-"
"That was the most romantic thing you ever said to me. It's not that hard, is it? Now shut the fuck up and finally hug me, idiot."
I could hear Jay entering Stephen's room, then Stephen slamming the door again.
I looked up at Dan.
"What was that?"
He was clearly trying not to laugh.
"They're childish and insane, but so damn cute in their own way."
I nodded happily.
"Wanna watch a movie together while the meal is cooking?", Dan asked smiling.
"Of course!!!"
Dan lifted me up and carried me into the living room, where he placed me on the couch carefully.
I laid down, watching Dan as he was searching for a movie.
After he started the movie, he came back to me and leaned over me.
"Hey!", I said happily.
He started to tickle me again, I squealed.
" D-dan, no!!!!"
We fought a bit, I won and got the remote control.
We watched 10 minutes of the movie, then we stopped and talked about...everything!
It was so much fun and we learned a lot about each other!
Suddenly, Dan stopped talking about how much he wants to kick Jay's ass and looked at me.
I looked back at him in surprise.
"Is everything okay?"
Dan smiled a bit.
"You're so beautiful..."
I blushed, Dan leaned over and kissed me.
I hugged him and enjoyed this kiss.
My heart was beating so fast...
"Stop kissing!"
Dan let go of me, looking at Stephen angrily.
"What the fuck do you want?!"
Stephen was standing next to Jay with an angry look on his face.
Jay was smiling, holding a camera.
"Get back in the kitchen, you two! I'm hungry!", Stephen said.
I was very embarrassed and covered my face in Dan's pullover, he stroke through my hair.
"Get lost."
Stephen growled.
"I need food! I worked the whole day and you said, I'm not allowed in the kitchen since I burned it down! Jay is hungry too!"
"Affirmative." Jay smiled.
"Is he so hungry that he tried to eat you, Stephen?", Dan teased.
Stephen looked at Dan angrily,  covering the fresh love bite at his neck with his hand.
" None of your business, asshole!"
Jay put his arms around Stephen and giggled quietly.
I stood up, holding Dan's hand.
"Calm down! Dinner is ready in about 10 minutes."
"Good! Stephen is  in a bad mood when he's hungry!"
Jay pulled Stephen out of the room.
I went back to the kitchen, still holding Dan's hand.
After 10 minutes, I got the food out of the oven.
Dan helped me to lay the table and Stephen and Jay sat down quickly.
After dinner, Dan and I were still sitting at the table.
We were talking for hours until I was very tired.
Dan grabbed me, softly placing a  kiss on my forehead.
"I love you."
"I love you too", I mumbled and fell asleep in his arms.
