Well then, now that it's been a few days and it's had time to sink in, (and I've checked off the "completed" button) I can finally write this note.

I still can't believe it. It's kind of crazy to think that the journey of writing this book has come to an end. To be honest, it kind of snuck up on me. I know what you're thinking. "You're the writer, how could you not know the end is coming??" But, I guess I was so wrapped up in the writing that when I hit the end it was almost a surprise.

I had so much fun writing this story and I thoroughly hope you guys enjoyed reading it. It's weirdly emotional to think I have to say goodbye to it. At least for now.

However, though the writing part may be over, the editing part has only just begun. It's been over a year since I started writing this book and it needs some tender, loving care in the editing department. Especially those first few chapters, yeesh. But, I truly hope that one day I'll be able to publish this book for real and so to the editing board it is!

The most important part of this journey though, is you guys. The readers. I cannot thank you enough for clicking on my story, for taking the time to read and spend time with my characters. It means the world to me, and them. Dash and Tyler thank you profusely. To those who shared feedback and comments,  thank you so much, and to those who followed along silently, thank you as well. It still amazes me that even one person would want to read what I wrote, but let me tell you, it's the coolest feeling.

There are a few people I have to thank personally, those who have been here since the very beginning, who cared about Dash and Tyler when they were nothing more than two random characters on a page: teamKr1s10 Wimbug Shrimpington

Thank you, thank you, thank you for reading, for taking the time to share your thoughts, for waiting patiently for inconsistent updates. You guys are seriously the best.

I would like to ask one more thing of all readers. Well a couple of things really.  I'm always curious as a writer to know your thoughts and see things from your perspective. So here goes:

Did you like the ending? Did it make sense? Was it too rushed?

Was there anything in the story as a whole that you did not like? That wasn't explained enough or you would want to know more about?

Did you have a favorite part or chapter?

Your voice as a reader is immensely helpful to me as I return to the beginning to edit!

And, before I go, there is one more important thing:

There is a special Epilogue I have written but have not yet posted. Once DMTL hits 1K votes, I will release it as a bonus chapter :)

So this is not officially the end. Not yet. Til we meet again my friends! :)
