Link's POV

Ugh. I swear, if Dark Link does anything to hurt Zelda, it will be the last thing he does. But the problem is, how do I find her? She's no where near me, she would have been back to this field by now. The only logical place for her to be is in Hyrule Castle, but the castle is huge. Hopefully, she is still in the tower she was in when Zant took over.

It's going to be a long track back to Castle Town. Hell, I don't even know how we ended up here in the first place. How do I find my way out of here? Maybe I could find Zelda's sent? No, Dark Link probably teleported her back. Well, there goes that plan... But then again, we left at the Bridge of Eldin, so I could just find my way there and head back to the castle that way. The only problem with this is that her scent is old by now. It will be easy to lose. I may just have to risk it...

I got up, shaking slightly from the long wait to be back in this form, and walked toward the stick that Zelda left in the ground by her note. I got her sent quickly, and with it I dashed out of the feild, determined to find my love.

When I finally made it out of the woods, I saw that we were not as far from the castle as we thought. Apparently, we were in the woods right out of Hyrule Field. That might be the reason why Dark Link found us so easily...

I looked up to see the sun had set quicker than I thought. Hyrule Field is dangerous at night, but then again, I would be able to blend in with the shadows... Screw it. I'm going now! Wait, she doesn't know I'm coming for her... I have to send some sort of signal to let her know, so I howled. I filled it with too many emotions to count. Love, fear, pain, perseverance, it was all there. I just hoped she knew it was me.

I'm coming, Zel. I promise.

Zelda's POV

I awoke with my head face down on the small desk in my tower to something howling in the distance... well, more like someone. Link, I can hear you crying out in the night. I'm sorry I caused you so much pain. I sat down on the massive windowsill and stared out at the darkened fields as a tear rolled down my left cheek. My breath lodged in my throat as I heard, "Oh darling, don't cry. There is nothing to be sad about, I mean, honestly. You are in a castle as a future queen," He came behind me and I got chills down my spine as he whispered in my ear, "My queen."

I whipped my head around and glared daggers at the monster holding me hostage. His eyes narrowed and he growled, "I was just trying to be nice, but obviously that is not an option with you. To think I was going to invite you downstairs to have dinner with me." I stared back out the window and replied blankly, "I'm not hungry." Obviously fed up with me being stubborn, he sighed and said, "Fine. Whatever, Princess. Just know I won't accept your attitude forever." With that remark, Dark Link stormed out of the room, slamming and locking the door behind him.

Another tear rolled down my face as I whispered, "Oh Link...

"Please hurry."

Dark Link's POV

I can barely think straight. That bitch had the nerve to be so cruel after I have been so kind to her! I could have been much meaner than I have been. I could have killed her lover boy on the spot, yet I let him live. I could have let her rot in the dungeon, yet she is living up here in the castle with me. If this is the gratitude I get, then I will show her what happens if she is this rude again...

I teleported to the cellar and commanded the orb, "Show me Link, the Hero of Twilight!" It did as I demanded and I saw the wolf sneaking through Hyrule Field. Not for long...

"Wow. You're still going. I thought you would have given up by now.", I chuckled. He growled and shouted, "Get the Hell out of my head!" I shrugged my shoulders and replied, "Fine I won't tell you the devastating event that occurred to your precious Princess Zelda." I knew I struck a nerve when I heard the slight panic in his voice. "What happened? What did you do to her?!" I shook my head and sighed, "Not what I did, but what you did." He shook his head and barked, "What happened, damnit?!"

"Zelda's dead."

Link's POV

My heart stopped at what he said. Did i hear that Bastard right? No. No. He's lying! She wouldn't do that... Would she? No! I won't believe it.

Zelda... I was coming for you... Did I make you lose enough hope that it made you end your life?

She wouldn't do that... I have to see for myself. I can't believe what he said. I refuse! Zelda wouldn't end her life because of this. She has faith in me... Right?

Zelda, whether you are alive or... dead... I'm coming. Nayru, I pray that she is still alive when I finally make it to the castle. I'm coming, Zel. I'm coming.
