I stumble through the fiery light

It takes away my breath

I reach for the darkness

The cool bliss that beckons

Beyond the wall of fire

My arms begin to ache

And I grow ever weary

Yet still will I keep pressing on

The treacherous flames pull me down

I struggle to keep this fire at bay

It traps me, entangles me

I'm caught in this web of fear

I cry out for help

Yet it all seems in vain

I beg the horizon

To bring back my sanity

To quench this fire

That rages within my soul
