Where do I belong?

I thought I knew,

But now I'm not so sure.

Oh, how easily people forget!

Here one day, gone the next.

Do they ever stop and think,

What became of me and my life?

They laugh at inside jokes

Don't notice my confused look.

Feeling like I'm out of place,

Falling behind the normal pace.

Everyone knows where they go,

But I can't seem to get the flow.

So I stand here alone,

Between places I don't know.

Unfamiliar faces all around.

So where, please tell me,

Do I belong?
