The coven meet ended on the worst note. Manik and nandini were sitting in their bedroom. The fall of dark creatures means not just their end but of all the other species, and they know pain will be more than ever.

Father has already  called werewolves clan or packs, and witches are informed too. Angels are the only creature that doesn't gets counted in us dark creatures but every dark creature isn't bad and it's not important that angels are all good, dark is also there but hidden behind the sweet smile and underneath the white.

Manik hates angels to the core, he believes the biggest danger is not the one whose objectives are to hurt but the one whose objectives are not clear.

Nandini, on the other hand have no interest in these wars or fights or even in these races. All want power, human at most wants to be on top the food chain but it's not possible and everyone knows this. Vampires are enough to fight those measly things even after the advancement of the world but they don't because they know they can't just fight every being, humans are smart if they get to know about the vampires existing between them, they won't just sit quietly. They would keep coming back in waves, more stronger than before and vampire loves peace too much. 

"Do you think this will kill all of us, would it really be the end of dark?" Nandini questioned Manik, she knows that with his power it's next to impossible for dark to end. 

"I don't know Nandini but all I know right now is your power gave us time to prepare for the war and now you should go and get ready, the werewolves wants to discuss the plan." Nandini nodded at him and left to get ready  but the worry is less, at least they know of the danger.

"Mrs. Nandini, you are the one who spoke under the compulsion of your newly earned power, do you think that you saw some vision too? If you can try to use your power again." The alpha who is very much single and have no mate looked at Nandini with some feelings that concealed under the no emotion mask. How much her face attracts his wolf...

Manik who saw it all kept quite and took Nandini when the meeting ended, he needs to talk to her.

As Nandini and Manik entered the room, Manik pulled her towards him, kissing her face, holding her tight, embracing her.

He kissed her mark that he gave her while bonding and smooched it while moving his hand to hold hers, he took her hands and wound them around his neck, hoisting her up.

Nandini trembled with bliss and hissed from the pain that shot through her head and a vision of her smiling in white bridal dress and Manik in black tuxedo came to her mind while all things started to darken and soon she fainted in Manik's arms.
