As Cale and Nandini looked towards the stage and smiled as the prince and princess of the kingdom entered the stage and they bowed towards the pair while standing and moving towards the stage to stand in the front.

This was one of the moment when every female and male with a title moves towards the front and stands in front of the princesses and princes, it was a moment which can decide their fates. Why?

Because it's the times where the high ranked can search for their mates, one to have and to hold.

It was the moment when every vampire can achieve their happiness of lifetime. Vampire kingdoms were never at fight because of this very reason. They don't thirst for power but rather a person to hold hands with. They have fun killing, don't get them wrong. They are villains that every human and lesser species fears and they should, for vampires hold their own in being the top of the food chain.

They just don't want to kill people of their own kind, it feels inferior to do. Though they don't care about another vampire unless it's their family, they just feel inferior when they kill their own kind.

It was a weird kind of balance that their species hold.

They all want the happiness to stay and live with their mates, so killing others might make someone suffer the loss they would never want themselves to suffer. Killing a vampire needs a very killing-worthy reason.

Nandini looked at the prince who stopped in front of her and bowed to him as he looked into her eyes moved to the other girls.

Cale too was encountering the princesses who would look in his eyes to see of they are mates but sadly none was selected.

Except three princesses, none of the princes found their mates and walked out of the stage to meet other people and wish to search their mates.

Nandini and Cale looked at each other and sighed as they might have to attend the other three balls of the other kingdoms. It was a rule that every kingdom followed so that every vampire meets and find their mates.

"Have a dance with me." Cale moved towards one of the Duke's daughter and smiled at Nandini showing her what he intends to do.

Nandini smiled and whispered to him "if you dare go back on your words, I'll make sure I complete your wish for calm and quiet. For eternity."

Cale nodded at her and Kate who was on the other side of the ball forwarded her hand towards Nandini and both sister's danced together while they decided to visit the Dior kingdom's ball tomorrow.

"Found anything worth noting today?" Kate said as she jumped on Nandini's bed and Nandini said "seems like prince of Dior kingdom attended the ball."

"How come?"

"I would like to know that too but first, tomorrow our house is for sure gonna face a mayhem."

"Found something against David?"

Nandini laughed at Kate's question and closed her eyes to sleep while Kate shook her head at her sister and turned to leave the room but Nandini held her hand and pulled her close to herself.

"Sleep here, I would feel alone otherwise."

Kate smiled and let the girl sleep holding her.

"Nandini, wake up, what happened?!" Manik said as he shook Nandini who seemed to have entered a long dream.

Ever since her power has awakened, she has been loosing control of them and entering a dream like state causing her to not wake for days.

Manik tensedly looked at her as she opened her eyes and his eyes took in her form and her eyes that seemed more red than usual.

There was a sharp glint that his eyes noticed and he smiled at her while kissing her forehead before giving her blood to drink and he called to others for them to their room as the other were worried about her too.

New powers causing these incidents are common, so nobody was excessively tensed but it was still a matter of concern for one to not wake up for ten days straight.
