3rd POV

Our story begins in a bedroom where our hero is seen moving in his bed, clearly having a nightmare.

Y/n: Please...let them live...

In his dreams, a blue hedgehog with red eyes killed every living thing. It didn't matter if they were critters or people, the hedgehog would murder them in cold blood.

Y/n: *Wakes up* STOP!

Y/n looked around the room as relief washes over him.

Y/n: *Sighs* It was just a dream,

Y/n's POV

I got out of bed and opened my window to see that the day was bright I thought to myself that today was a new day. I prepared myself by getting changed into my school uniform.

Y/n: Today is a new day.

I walked out of my bedroom and went downstairs to the living room ready for breakfast before I saw a red-haired girl in twin tails with purer white ribbons like an angel wearing a school uniform.

Y/n: (I wonder why she's hiding behind the couch.) Hey Sis!

Kotori screamed when I greeted her.

Kotori: Aaahhh!!! Please don't tickle me Onii-Chan.

Y/n: Whoa! Kotori, it's just me, Y/n. Calm down.

Kotori: Y/n? You're here!

As Kotori said that, she jumped towards me and hugged me which made me blush a lot. However, it is natural for me since her parents adopted me when I first arrived in this world

Y/n: *Smiles* It's okay, sis. I'm here. *Concerned* Why are you hiding behind the couch?

Kotori: Because Onii-Chan is acting scary and is trying to tickle me.

Y/n: I'm sure he's just playing with you. Speaking of which, where is Shido?

???: Behind you...

I was startled to see a blue-haired boy in a school uniform creep up on me.

Y/n: *Sighs* Just couldn't stop joking around, can ya, Shido?

Shido: Sorry Y/n, Kotori tries to get me out of bed, and after that, she kicks me in the stomach so hard it's so painful.

Kotori: It's part of the wake-up call, Onii-Chan!

Shido: *Sighs* Sure it is. Say, how about we eat some breakfast before we leave?

Y/n: That sounds like a plan to me. Thanks, Shido.

Kotori: Yay! Thank you Onii-Chan!

A few minutes later, we were eating breakfast made by Shio while we watched the news on the TV that a series of explosions known as Spacequakes destroyed city homes and skylines.

Shido: Man, these Spacequakes keep happening.

Y/n: I know. Not only that, they also killed people who were related to other families. I just really wished I could go back in time and prevent that from happening, things could have been different.

Shido: Yeah, I know the feeling.

Kotori: I agree too. However, there is still so much more that I want to learn about what's behind them.

She said that as I noticed Kotori having her lollipop during breakfast and Shido noticed this as well.

Y/n: Hey! No sweets!

Kotori yelped as her lollipop fell out her her mouth and managed to catch it with her mouth on time before I could take it from her.

Kotori: Mmmm! Mm! Mmm! Mmmmm!

Y/n: *Gif below* Just make sure you finish your breakfast, please sis?

Kotori: Ha Ha! Ok Onii-Chan! Thank you.

Her smile makes me very happy every time I see her happy. This made me blush as well.

Shido: Oh hey, have any of you got a plan for lunch?

Kotori: Yep! One large kid's deluxe free!

Shido: That's from a diner's menu. We don't serve that dish at this restaurant and before you ask, no, we are not making chili dogs Y/n. It almost burnt my tongue.

Y/n: *Sticks his tongue out* 

Kotori:Oh come on, Onii-Chan. Please, pretty please with a cherry on top? It's yummy.

Y/n: *Laughs* We might as well give Kotori something to eat. In my opinion, I'd give her what she likes if I were in your shoes, Shido.

Shido: *Sighs* Fine. We'll go get something for you to eat, Kotori.

Kotori: Yay! Thank you, Onii-Chans! You two are the best!

Y/n: *Scratches his ears while looking away* No worries sis. We always like to see you smile.

Shido: Yeah.

20 minutes later

We arrived at the restaurant to have lunch later after school.

Shido: Well, this is the place.

Y/n: Sure is. I'm so excited to eat something good here later.

Kotori: *Laughs cutefully* Me too!

I smile and blush from Kotori's happiness.

Shido: Okay Kotori. When school is finished I want you to meet up here when Y/n and I are finished and walking here. Can you do that for me, please?

Kotori: Yep! You can count on me! And if there is a bunch of terrorists taking over this restaurant, I'll try to kick their butts!

Y/n: *Chuckles* I doubt that it's going to happen, sis.

Shido: Agreed. Anyways, off to school with you.

Shido head pats Kotori's head.

Y/n: Yeah, take care of yourself sis.

I kneel down to pick one of my quills off and give it to Kotori. I do this as a way to make her feel like I'm with her, she blushes from this and smiles.

Kotori: Yeah! Take care of yourselves, you two!

After that, we headed off to school.

30 minutes later

I was in a classroom drawing my art in my notebook. The reason for this is because it's a coping mechanism from before I arrived here, you see, I'm from another planet known as Mobius with my parents: Sonic The Hedgehog and Sash Lilac The Dragon Girl lived peacefully until it all changed when a demon known as Exetior possessed my father and killed most of my family when I was just a baby. With that in mind, I tried to forget about it and escape myself from reality by drawing. While I was doing that, a certain teacher tapped my shoulder a bit to get my attention.

Y/n: Oh! Ms. Okamine! I'm sorry, I was too focused on my artwork.

Ms. OkamineL Oh no! It's not your fault! I'm sorry if I startled you.

Y/n: It's okay. You're just doing your job.

Ms. Okamine: Besides, you do have really good drawings there.

Y/n: Thank you. I've always wanted to draw art in my notebook.

Ms. Okamine: *Smiles* I think you'll be a great artist one day.

I smiled at that as she walked back to her desk. I started to look out the window and sighed to myself.

???: Y/n Itsuka?

Y/n: Yes?

I turn around to see a white-haired girl standing in front of my desk. She is one of the smartest students who became the top of their class.

Y/n: Hey Origami. How have you been?

Origami: I'm doing fine, thank you. How about you?

Y/n: I'm fine thanks.

Origami: I can see that you're drawing your art again. It looks nice.

Y/n: *Smiles and blushes* Thanks.

Origami: You know you can hang out with me if you want. We haven't talked to each other since we first met during our first year at school.

Thinking about what she said, I suppose I don't mind.

Y/n: Sure, I'd like that.

Origami: *Smiles a bit and blushes* I'm glad you accepted.

With that, she walks back to her desk. This is really rare that I see Origami with a positive expression on her face. She seems like a nice girl.

???: Hey, Y/n!

I turn around to see another boy who is good friends with Shido.

Y/n: Hey Tonomachi.

Tonomachi: Say, we want to ask you something that you have to be honest about.

Y/n: Sure, fire away.

Shido: Well, how do you know Origami?

Y/n: Well, she's one of the most smartest girls in school who became the top of her class.

Tonomachi: Okay. Then let me ask you this: What's your relationship with Origami?

Y/n: *Confused* W-What do you mean?

Tonomachi: I'm asking if you two are a couple.

With that being said, a huge blush appeared on my face.

Y/n: What?! No no no no no! I mean she's pretty, to be honest, but I'm not really on that level.

Tonomachi: Well, she's pretty interested in you ever since she first met you. She's been following you everywhere you go.

Y/n: *Raises an eyebrow* How would you know that?

Tonomachi: Just a guess. Besides, three other girls named Ai, Mai, and Mii are interested in you as well. You're clearly one lucky guy.

Y/n: *Sighs* I'm not really that special. Besides, I'm not interested in dating girls.

Shido: What do you mean?

Y/n: Don't get me wrong. Girls are pretty. However, even though I don't have experience dating a girl, I believe that there are most trying to make their gopher rather than actual likeness. That's why I don't want to have an experience like that.

Tonomachi: well, no need to fear. I have a special someone that seems to be interested in you.

He pulls out his phone and shows a girl on his screen. I gave him a deadpan look.

Y/n: *Gif below* Is this a dating app?

Tonomachi: No. This here is my love and I'd say she's interested in you.

Y/n: (Did he hear everything I told him?) *Sighs*

I turn to my left to look outside the window.

Shido: Tonomachi, I don't think it's appropriate for him to be doing this kind of hobby.

Tonomachi: Why? It's perfect!

3rd POV

Unbeknownst to our hero, Ai, Mai, and Mii witnessed the scenario.

Ai: What are those two doing? They should know that Y/n isn't into dating apps.

Mai: Agreed. Besides Y/n isn't into dating in reality.

Mii: That is so lame.

Even Origami witnessed this and she felt genuinely bad about what he said. Deep down she loved him so much even if he was not interested in dating

One hour later

Y/n's POV

I was walking down the hallway exploring the place just to get my mind off of things. During this, I started to hear an alarm and an announcement.

Speaker: Attention! This is not a drill. Everyone must be evacuated to the nearest underground safe house.

Everyone starts running like they are trying to get away from a nuclear explosion. I started to look for Shido.

Y/n: Shido? Shido?! Where are you?!

Shido: Y/n? I'm right here!

I ran towards him.

Y/n: What are you doing? We need to get to the underground shelter!

Shido: I know. But I'm trying to look for Kotori because she's not answering the phone! I need to get to the place where we were supposed to meet up for lunch!

Shido ran off and I followed.

Y/n: Damnit. I have to help him.

We ran through the city to get to the location. It was chaos as all the people in Tengu City were running to underground shelters. We arrived at the location and we saw that her phone had been left behind. I picked up the phone.

Y/n: I think she dropped this when she went to the underground bunker.

Shido: Oh thank goodness. I hope she's safe.

Y/n: I hope so too.

Then, we heard an explosion that was not far from here. I got curious and I needed to know what was going on.

Shido: Where are you going, Y/n? You're going to get yourself killed!

Y/n: I need to go check what was going on with that explosion over there. Don't worry, I'll be fine. Just get to the shelter.

Shido: Okay, just be careful.

I nodded to him and went to the location. Just as I was going to see what was happening, right down there in the middle of the city's destruction is something...or someone. It was a girl with purple hair, wearing purple armor, standing on what seemed to be a throne with a sword. We both stared at each other wondering at the same time.

Y/n|???: Who is she/he?

The girl then took out her sword from the throne and jumps straight towards me. She slashes her sword in my direction towards the buildings. I was staring at her with her sword in front of my face. She's one of the most beautiful girls I have ever witnessed.

???: Are you here to kill me?

Y/n: ...What? Why would I do that?

???: What? Don't try and lie to me. I know you are here to kill me. Just like those flying girls.

Y/n: (Flying girls?) Listen, I can assure you that I would not hurt a beautiful girl like you. I'm not that kind of person.

She blushed when he called her beautiful for the first time. She felt like she didn't want to kill him.

Y/n: Let me ask. Who or what are you?

Before she could answer, missiles began to fire towards both of us. I tried to protect the girl. However, I didn't die from it. A light came within me. I witnessed that there was a sword in my hand and my appearance changed into what looked like armor that felt... familiar.

Y/n: Huh?! W-What the hell?!

???: Impossible. Who or what are you?

Y/n: I...I don't know!

Just then, a bunch of flying girls appeared to fire at us and slash us with their swords. I got into a stance that I didn't know I had. I never fought with a weapon before but I felt like I did.

Y/n: Listen, you need to get out of here while you still can.

She was shocked by this.

Y/n: Please. For my sake and your safety!

She reluctantly nodded and left.

???: This is the AST. Don't even think about running away!

I see an adult who appears to be the captain of the AST.

I then started to see a familiar who was about to kill me. It was Origami Tobiichi in her armor.

I tried to avoid their attacks without hurting them and tried to reason with them.

Y/n: (Origami?! What is she doing here?!) Wait! I'm not here to kill anyone!

Origami: Reasoning is not going to get you out of this alive, Spirt.

Y/n: Spirit?

Origami: Now die!

She slashed her sword as I parried it with my sword. I pushed her away and tried to get away. I managed to use one of my dad's old abilities to bounce onto the buildings and managed to fly away to get away from them. I managed to escape but I was about to fall into the ground. Injured, I was starting to lose my vision when I heard two voices in front of me.

???: Is this him?

??? 2: It is. We have to get him to the ship. He'll be helping with our purpose to save spirits.

???: Very well.

I blacked out.
