Oregon's weather was the exact definition of my mood swings: unexpected and consistent. I was drowsy, stressed and hopeless with a window that showed the breezy weather with light rain, I stared at the piles of business papers that reminded me of the intolerable finals.

Concentrate, you don't want to work as a stripper. I urged myself in my constant thoughts while picking my nails.

Levy had promised to help me but he had to bail to pick his dad up from the business trip he had. It has been a while since I saw Mr. Clay Martin and I definitely didn't have time to go with Levy since he was ahead of his studies than I was.

Dread filled my stomach up as I scratched the back of my bow-tie shaped lazy bun and I felt like I was sweating buckets of nervousness. Stress etched onto my face when I groaned at the fact that I wasn't able to memorize one single paper.

I had to admit that my mind was preoccupied with the mysteries that had happened and the action I never thought I would even go through due to Levy's protectiveness over what he did in order not to involve me and harm me.

"I'm back home," Mr. Clay's voice boomed, announcing his arrival and I cursed in my head at the hours wasted on useless memorization.

Although my current unintelligent brain couldn't function anymore, I still had morals so I trailed down the stairs and shook hands with Mr. Clay with a fake small smile.

"You look like someone hit you with a chainsaw," Mrs. Christina commented while she raised her famous amused eyebrow at me.

I couldn't blame her for judging my SpongeBob pj's and lazy bun with dark bags under my eyes, I probably looked like a dull junkie that sold his kidneys to win money.

Mr. Clay was the complete version of fresh, he had shaved and he was in his Giorgio Armani black suit, I could tell Levy's inherited his dad's classy looks, it was too easy to tell since they both had similar styles.

"How are you, darling?" Mr. Clay asked.

"I'm fine, do you need me to help you with your bags?" I asked back and he shook his head.

"My assistants will get it from outside, Levy went to fetch me my wallet," Mr. Clay informed me and I nodded.

It was awkward standing in front of Levy's parents so I excused myself and went back up to attempt to study again.

"Hey you," I muttered furiously to the papers, "get in my head already," I groaned out and wanted to rip them all.

"Lia, are you going crazy again?" Levy asked in between his husky laughter and received a glare from me.

"I just can't seem to memorize anything," I huffed while pushing the papers away from me.

Levy, in his white shirt and jeans, grabbed the papers from the bed and sat down in front of me.

"You owe me," he said and I nodded with puppy eyes.

"Here we go," Levy sighed and we began to revise or more like Levy tutoring me.

After what seemed like an eternity of banters and tumbles, I finally somehow got a grasp on our business final tomorrow. So much for my eagerness to graduate.

"Baby, I got the phone," he held July's phone in his hand and settled himself on the bed.

My mind was too busy about freaking out over the final that I forgot about the July case we had. Although it was a hectic ride, I wouldn't deny the fun I had along the ride. It felt as though I could finally get accepted into Levy's life.

He expected her phone to be locked but it wasn't and it didn't even have a password.

"Levy, what if she knew about our plan and purposely did this?" I rushed out in panic and he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Shit, maybe she knew because she wouldn't have unlocked her phone for us," he concluded and I panicked even more.

It was currently eight in the evening and we tried to figure something out. Levy went on into her gallery and what we saw shocked us.

July was in front of the camera with a deranged look on her face and a devious smirk.

"You should have been smarter than this, Lia and Levy," she tutted at us in the video.

"Have fun trying to look for something about me. " she laughed and turned back to her room.

"I should have known that she would do that," Levy scolded himself and I rubbed his shoulder in comfort.

"We didn't know, mistakes happen-" I got interrupted by a fuming Levy.

"A mistake that will fucking take us to jail, I never wanted you to be in jail," he shouted and started to punch the wall.

"We're going to figure it out, stop it," I ordered calmly taking his hand and wrapping it around mine.

"I want to leave you, Lia." the words came out of his lips like cold water as his eyes darkened, "But I also want you so fucking bad that it hurts." His erratic breaths after what he said daunted me as he looked into my eyes.

"You're a killer, that's your job. I, Lia Maxwell, accept you for who you are." I took his face in my hands and passionately kissed him.

He kissed back and we pulled away after my daily dose of his precious scent that was on me.

"We have to think of another way and I still think Demetria is in July's scheme." I told him and he looked deep in thought with tortured eyes trying to figure out what was our next step.

We both sat down in our own worlds, not realizing that she has evidence against us which was Demetria and she knew about our killings.

Everything I remembered was still vivid in my mind but hey, at least I would face it for the love of my life.
