Two people sat facing each other with goofy smiles on their faces in Benny's ice cream parlor, smearing chocolate ice creams on each other's faces and laughed together as they hopelessly gazed at each other, appreciating the person in front of them.

That was us at eleven pm at a school night just eating ice cream with a wide grin plastered on our faces like our worries just melted away.

I had to admit, today was getting better for me after the setbacks I faced earlier, I couldn't be more content when I faced the love of my life with a giggle and an ice cream.

It was true when they said ice cream brought people together. It shaped our happiness together.

We were rudely interrupted by the waitress as she leaned into Levy when she placed his brownies, showing her opened chest but adjusted herself when she caught my intense, crazy back-off signature glare.

Levy's eyes didn't look at her, he sweetly looked at me, not bothering to turn his head to the waitress. She gave me a nervous smile and scattered back to pick up her desperation issues back together.

He held my hand as we both battled for a thumb war. It was one cozy night that brought us together and even closer to each other. I hadn't had this moment of peace ever but with him, it felt like everything was going to be fixed.

"I know what our next adventure would be," he told me, "let's go skinny dipping," I laughed at his option and shook my head, he mischievously winked at my reddened cheeks.

"No, we can't do that, we will freeze from the cold water," I said in between my giggles.

"Is that an excuse I hear, Lia?" he wiggled his eyebrows, challenging me to accept the idea.

It has been forever since I had fun without anything trying to ruin it up. We deserved something reckless once in a while so I nodded and Levy got excited, which was a cute sight to behold.

He placed the money on the table and took his brownie as he hurriedly took my hand, running to the motorcycle as I couldn't help but laugh so hard at his rushed state

He literally shoved a large-sized brownie inside his mouth, choked a little and happily sighed at the oozing chocolate that spilled under his lips. He looked so innocent and it was hard for me to think he ever killed people.

We rode on his motorcycle as we went to south Oregon beach that was near us.

I whooped as we arrived and took our shoes off to put it inside the car, wasting no time as our feet raced through the sand for a who-reached-first challenge got to strip first.

Luckily, he lost but felt confident, he discarded his jeans and t-shirt that he changed into earlier after we took a nap. I admired his carved to perfection abs and toned abdomen, his chest was broad and manly that I flushed when he flexed in front of me with a wink.

I closed my eyes when he threw off his briefs. "It's nothing you haven't seen before, princess," I slapped his chest blindly when he laughed out loud.

"I will be in the water, waiting for you," he whispered in my ear as I waited for five minutes.

Opening my eyes, I removed my clothes and went into the water, my eyes shining at his dripping wide shoulders as his muscles contrasted against the moonlight. I kissed his back and he turned around, his eyes only looking at my face when he wrapped his arms around my bare waist.

The beach was empty and the sea was crystal when the stars twinkled in malevolence, showing the reflection of it on the sea.

"You know, after three years of crazy fights, drama and so much happening with your family and mine, we always stay together at the end," his forehead pressed against mine as his eyes passionately held my equally loving gaze.

"Yes, we do," I traced the water on the light hairs of his chest. "Even though, you are so frustrating to deal with," he laughed at my statement and I proceeded, "but even though we fight and say hurtful words to each other, we are meant to be and nothing can stop us," I serenely traced his jaw and his lips, keeping it in my memory forever.

"God, what have I done to deserve you?" he wondered and I stepped on the sand to get closer to him, our chest against each other.

"You have done everything to deserve me as much as I do to you," I confessed and he sighed out.

"It's just that every time I see your hallucinating state, I freak out, I wish there was any way I could help you," he frustratingly stated with troubled, nervous eyes.

"Levy, it's enough that you are here even when I turned psycho on you," I joked and he didn't laugh as his eyes darkened at my joke.

"I just want you to overcome this," he wished out.

"Believe me, I will try for us," I promised as he bent his head to nuzzle my neck and affectionately kissed my collarbone.

"God, you are so beautiful," he whispered as his lips took on a different direction to the north, claiming my lips and holding my body underwater.

This was serenity right there, just Levy and I, our oath to stay together, the ups and downs of our relationship, I actualized that he truly accepted me whole the same way I accepted him even after his fucked up deeds.

That was what made love so special inside of us, it was not for everyone, it was for special people who knew how to battle it out and made up the other day.

Realizing that at the moment where our naked bodies were settled against each other, I appreciated Levy a little more for what he had to go through because of me.

I prayed that this wouldn't fade away or be ruined.
