Sierra

Sierra didn't want to leave the woods.

Her talk with her Dad had really shaken Sierra up. More than she cared to admit.

She sat in the woods for what felt like a long time, thinking about what she would do now.

Sierra just wanted to stay in the woods, away from the pain and responsibility. But she had to go back. With extreme hesitance, she got up and headed back to camp. But Sierra didn't bother hiding how scared and depressed she felt.

Sierra saw that Reyna had noticed her mood. "Sierra?" She asked. "What's the matter?"

"Come with me." Sierra said. "Both you and Annabeth need to hear this."

Reyna looked confused, but she followed.

They found Annabeth and then went behind the dining pavillion.

"Sierra, please." Annabeth begged. "Tell us what's going on."

"I had a little mental chat with my father. He told me that i have the power to see the future."

"Really?" Annabeth looked full of awe.

"Not without a price. He also said the reason i have this power is because i am more god than human than most demigods. Because of this, my human body violently rejects the visions, and if i stay too long in one, i would turn to ashs." Sierra couldn't stop her voice from shaking.

Reyna hugged her. "I'm so sorry."

"That's why I had a seizure this morning." Sierra explained.

"You had a vision this morning?" Annabeth looked very intrigued.

Sierra felt herself stiffen. "Um, well-"

"So, that's a yes." Reyna guessed.

Sierra slouched. "...yes."

"What was it?" Annabeth asked.

Sierra's eye twitched. "I can't tell you."

"Why?" Reyna crossed her arms.

"Apollo said that he would have to kill me if i gave any spoiler alerts. And i asked him why he can't just show me only what i can tell, and he said that my powers are too strong for him to control."

"Oh." Reyna spoke in a small voice.

There was a bit of an awkward silence until Annabeth spoke.

Her eyes lit up. "Come on, i know just how to cheer you up!"

Annabeth grabbed Sierra's bony wrist and dragged her towards the Athena Cabin. Reyna ran after them.

"Annabeth, slow down!" Sierra's wrist was beginning to hurt.

Annabeth either didn't hear her or decided to ignore her.

Once they reached the Athena Cabin, Annabeth said to wait outside. When she came out, she brought a box.

She put it down and opened it.

"My weapon!" Sierra spoke with joy. She grabbed the boots and gloves and started putting them on.

The boots were black and as high as her knees and had celestial bronze and imperial gold plating and spikes. The gloves reached to her forearms and were leather and studded with celestial bronze and imperial gold spikes. The twin shields that were strapped to her forearms finished the getup.

"Here, punch this." Annabeth held up a rusted iron shield.

Sierra swung her fist at the rusted metal and it left a huge dent. Reyna looked immensely impressed.

"Wow, that's amazing." Reyna complimented. "Annabeth, great job with the design. And Sierra, nice punch. You'll conquer capture the flag."

Sierra tried not to flinch as she remembered her vision. Now she was sure that it would happen tonight.

Annabeth drew her bone sword. "Let's see how you fare with defence."
