There was a lot of commotion going on outside and she groaned and got up. She didn't want to but she wanted to k ow what was going on. She saw Chiron and a bunch of kids in armor heading toward she forest and she ran towards it. But she stopped when she went past Neto and a girl named Ellie from the Apollo cabin.

"You guys know what's happening?" She asked them

"There was an Ares kid in the forest and he found someone's stuff by Zues' Fist. He said it looked like a struggle, like someone was taken from there" said Ellie

"I'm going to go with them, you guys coming?" She asked

"I'll come." Neto said.

"I wish I could, but I have to get ready to go see my mom, Chiron is going to take me when he heads up to Manhattan." She said

Zoe nodded and jogged towards the forest with the rest of them. She had Neto at her heels right behind her.

When they caught up she squeezed herself next to Chiron and Neto just continued to walk forward trying to get closer and see what happened.

"Do you know who's missing?" She asked him.

"Unfortunately, no. But that's why I came out here, to see if I can tell by their belongings who it is." He said.

She nodded and continued to walk.

As they got closer she saw Neto turn around and stop her.  She tried to walk closer to the scene but he wouldn't let her. He was giving her a serious look.

"It's best if you go back to camp, Zo." he said to her.

"No I wanna see what happened, I wanna know who's missing." She said to him with a frown.

"I don't think you do right now, but I can tell you after this is all calmed down." He said, trying to get her to go.

She was so confused but something shiney caught her eye which made her push past him. He grabbed her hand to try to stop her but she pulled her hand back from him.

"Zoe, come on, it's nothing, really. Just go back to camp." He said in a more desperate voice.

She froze when she saw the stuff. She knew exactly who's it was. Everything from the silver necklace that had a skull on it, to the satchel that was laying on the ground. She looked at everything in disbelief hoping she was wrong but she knew she wasn't. It was Kane's. Her best friend, her brother was gone. She leaned down and grabbed the necklace and she stared at it.

Everyone was starting to leave the scene but she stayed there looking around as if she was ready to punch the first person she saw. Neto stayed with her to make sure she didn't do anything stupid but it did nothing because she was going to be stupid.

She put on his necklace over hers. Her was a necklace that could turn into breast-plate armor. Very helpful at times.

"This is why I told you to go back to camp." Neto said to her. "I didn't want to see you get upset."

She was angry but she didn't mean to take it out on him. "I'm not a child, you don't need to protect me."

He didn't say anything he just stayed there with her.

She began to roam around the area with Neto trying to convince her to go back. When he grabbed her by her arm lightly she heard a creak on the ground and told him to be quiet.

"Listen." She said to him and she move her foot against where it creaked, and it creaked again.

Neto frowned and then they both moved the foot to hear the creaking and then they suddenly fell through the spot.

They both landed on a hard metal floor, the landing hurt, she heard something crack when she hit the floor because she landed on her back. She got up with a groan and Neto did the same. She looked around and it looked like some sort of old tunnel. Because there was very old brick on each side of them. One way was pitch black, and the other was lighter.

"Now where are we?" Neto said and took his hood off because it wasn't very light where ever they were. But they could still see.

"I don't know, it looks like some kind of tunnel." She muttered and rubbed her back.

She looked up to see where they fell from but there was nothing. Not light, no hole, no nothing.

"No." She said while looking up, "There's no spot that shows werr we came in here from, that's impossible. I mean how can we fall into something that has no hole?"

Neto shrugged. He looked towards the lighter side of the tunnel and looked back at her who was trying to jump up to see if there was a spot. He smiled by the way it look but it faded when he also realized there was no exit, just more tunnel.

"We need to see where this way leads to even try to get out of here." He said to her.

She stopped jumping and looked at him "We have to before we starve down here." She said go him.

He nodded and they both began to head towards the lighter side of the tunnel. They walked that way for a little while in silence until Neto finally broke the silence.

He looked at Zoe with a smile then shook his head. "You know, I never get into trouble like I do when I'm around you." He said to her with a small chuckle.

"Not sure if that's a compliment, but thank you." She said with a smile and looked over at him.

They continued to walk after that in silence until they found what looked to be an exit from a distance. Zoe looked over at Neto then booked it towards the exit. Neto followed right behind her. Only she had to stop real quick when she saw a end of it that had a massive drop. Which made Neto almost run into her and throw her off.

Zoe looked out towards it and all she saw was water and an oddly familiar looking boat that she was trying to figure out how she knew it. Then it hit her, it was the boat from her dream. The exact one. Only it was a great distance away.

"It's...The Statue of Liberty" Neto muttered in disbelief.

"There's no way we got this far in about an hour." Zoe said to him "No way at all."

"Well, apparently there is." He said to her.

She tried to reach the top of the hole to climb on top if it to get out but she was too short. She looked over at him then she sighed.

"Can you help me up?" She mumbled quietly.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Neto asked putting his ear towards her with a big grin. "Did I just hear Zoe Woods ask for help?"

"Just give me a boost." She said rolling her eyes.

"Not with that attitude." He said jokingly.

Neto put his hands together so she put her foot on them and he pushed her up as she grabbed the top of the pipe and she pulled herself up. After she was up there she grabbed Neto's arm and helped him up.

When they were both on top of the tunnel it was night time and they both could tell they were definitely not in Long Island any more. They were in New York City.
