Socks opened his eyes to an unidentified area, his head swam and he could feel himself rocking from side to side. He could hear water sloshing on the outside, and quickly realized he and the gang must have made it safely to the boat. He sighed with relief and attempted to stand up and quickly sat back down as dizziness hit him.

"Oh god-" he started out.
"That's- Not good-"He muttered to himself in multiple breaths. He sat for a good second to reorientate himself then he stood up, wary to move slowly and not push himself. He was in a small room with white walls and wooden floors.  One lone window sat on one wall and Socks could see out of it. He could see dark clouds over on the horizon.
"Storms coming soon, Again." He said to himself.
"This one looks like it's gonna be brutal." he observed just from the color of the clouds. He decided he would leave this small room and see if he could find where the rest of the gang was. As he stood up he stumbled as the boat took a sharp turn and heard an unidentified shout

"Sorry!  But hey were here now!" Socks quickly ran to the door and yanked it open a surprised yelp could be heard.

"Jeez socks you scared me."  he heard a voice chuckle. Socks spun around and saw Nadwe clutching a hunting rifle close to his chest. He then heard footsteps and saw Ally turn around the corner.
"Oh hey socks, You're finally awake and just in time too."  Ally smiled.
"How long was I out for?" Socks asked.
"About, Oh give or take 5 hours." Ally thought carefully, Shaking her head from side to side slowly.Socks thought for a moment. Then shouted,
"FIVE HOURS?!"
"Yeah-" Ally shrugged, "You were out like a light my dude." Ally laughed.
"No wonder, You got chucked into a wall by a tank, I'm surprised you're not dead." Nadwe pointed out reminding Socks about what happened before he woke up on the boat.
"I didn't hurt any of you, did I? He asked worried,
"No, we were all safe and sound." Nadwe nodded calmly "I'm actually surprised, You attacked the tank instead, Gave him a good clawing." Nadwe let out a small laugh. Socks paused and thought about what Nadwe was saying. Instead of attacking his friends he attacked another  special infected? That was odd.
"Anyway the reason I came here is to let you both know, That we've arrived at the Sugar mill." Ally said after a moment of silence.
"Eww I hear witches-" Nadwe complained.
"That's why we were grabbing shotguns, We definitely need them." Ally responded calmly to Nadwe who gave her a pouty face.
"Why do we need to be here?" Nadwe asked after a moment.
"Well you see, I assumed we were gonna be heading towards New Orleans on a boat, So we need gas right?" Ally asked. Nadwe paused for a second and then nodded. "There's a gas station on the other side of the sugar mill, we get there to get the gas and get out. Easy peasy. Ally finished.
"That sounds easier then it's going to be." Socks sighed. Knowing what lay in the fields of The sugar mill.
"You're not wrong-" Ally chuckled.

They got off the boat and the captain wished them good luck and they started out on their journey.
"Captains going to be checking round for some survivors, the reason he's doing that is because we're gonna be getting gas."  Ally said to everyone but they already knew.
"Wait question- Why don't we just use the gas we have to keep going to New orleans?"  Muffin asked.
"Because its not enough to make it to the next town," Ally responded calmly. She then thought for a second. "We might have to go back though." Ally then muttered.
"Why would we have to go back?" Meme asked.
"Mercy hospital is that way." She jerked her thumb back to where they came from, "But I realized we were closer to an evac center in New orleans, then to Mercy hospital." She responded.
"Really? Your caring to tell us that now?" Socks asked, slightly outraged. Ally paused for a few seconds and bit her lip.
"Yesss-" Ally said hesitantly, "But we can always go back." Ally pointed out.
"Yeah we can always go back UNLESS WE DIE BY THEN!" Socks shouted. Ally stayed silent, she couldn't really argue with Socks' argument. He had a point and she hated to admit it. She was really lying. Yes, New Orleans was closer to the swamp, but Mercy hospital was a lot smarter to go with, as there were doctors and that's where the first of the infection was started so they would probably know the most about it. She glanced at Socks whose yellow eye was glowing brighter.
"I'm really sorry, I know we should've gone with Mercy hospital but this was closer, you know?" she said. Socks sighed in annoyance and then shrugged.
"I guess you're right." he said and then he started walking away. Ally then felt a hand on her back and turned to see Laff looking at her.
"Hey don't worry about it okay?" He attempted to comfort her. She smiled back at him and he continued speaking.
"Socks is just scared of hurting us, he really has hope that Mercy hospital is gonna have the cure for this."
"But what if they don't, And i'm just lying to socks?"  Laff paused to consider what Ally said,
"You wouldn't do it on purpose. I know that for a fact. We've been friends for almost 10 years. I would know when you're lying to a person," Laff responded. Ally smiled because she really believed what he said.
"Thanks." She smiled. They were way behind the rest of the gang so she then said, "We should get moving..."
"Yeah." and they took off as fast as they could to catch up.

Socks heard a Witch crying nearby and then glanced over. He saw the witch with her hands over her face covering it from the sun.
"I'm gonna go crown her." Ally said out of breath. She must've ran to keep up with them.
"No you're way too out of breath." Nadwe pointed out.
"That's never stopped me." Ally panted.
"Well I'm stopping you this time, I also think it's about time I learn how to crown a witch myself."  Nadwe said confidently.
"But you've never crowned a witch Nadwe," Muffin said. "She could kill you in one swipe of her claws." Muffin swiped his hands in a clawing motion to emphasize his point. "Plus do you even know how to crown a witch?" He continued on without giving Nadwe a chance to respond.
"I've seen Ally crown witches like 5 times." Nadwe responded.
"Watching someone do something doesn't mean you know what to do." Blaza finally said. Joocie chuckled and then said.
"We all appreciate your confidence Nadwe, but Let's be honest we should probably let someone else do it. Ally's got her breath back. Why don't we get her to crown the witch?" he said, thrusting a thumb towards her. Woolf and Dino nodded in agreement along with Muffin who shrugged when Nadwe glared at him. Socks had no reaction and then Meme opened his mouth and said,
"If Nad is so confident in Crowning why doesn't Ally show him?"
"I guess." Nadwe grumbled angrily.
"Okay follow me Nadwe and Listen closely." Ally said. Nadwe nodded and they snuck up on the witch. Socks was also making mental notes as she pointed out some things before they got in the witch's personal bubble. Then Nadwe stalked up closely until the witch started to scream in his face and he pulled the trigger. She died instantly. Everyone let out small cheers except for Socks who clapped slowly. Nadwe beamed at them and their praise but as his eyes fell on the silent but clapping Socks his face fell.
"Lets get moving." Socks said and started walking again. Nadwe felt disappointed, Was Socks not impressed? He would have to ask later but he no longer had the courage to do so, crowning the witch had taken practically all his confidence away.  Her screaming in his face had scared him so much, he determined that unless he had to he was never going to do that again.

They continued to keep moving until they arrived at the abandoned sugar mill. The foundation was crumbling and the cement walls had chips and parts of them missing. This didn't give them much confidence in finding gas here until Ally said.
"Gas stations on the other side of this building and on the other side of the sugar cane field."  Meme sighed, he didn't feel like going any farther but he was going to have to, he had hoped that there was a chance for him to take a break and rest if only for a little bit. He also wasn't looking forward to dealing with the witches. He had assumed Ally had been over exaggerating the amount of witches to be found here since he had seen a few wandering around that Ally had crowned, he had tried crowning one of them and finished successfully although it was extremely scary.

They got to the top floor of the building and saw an elevator.
"Don't push the button yet, it's gonna summon a horde. The noise of the elevatoring booting up is gonna get them running here faster than the speed of light."  Ally said,
"Let's get ready for that then, Does anyone need anything right now before I push this button?" Meme asked calmly. Everyone shook their heads and he took a deep breath and pushed the button, within seconds a loud scream from a group of infecteds could be heard. Surprisingly enough Socks had no reaction; he just reloaded his gun and got ready to start blasting, his hand drifting to his side where the molotov sat in a sheath on his belt. Socks glanced at Meme staring at him and titled his head to say 'What's wrong?' Meme just shook his head and Socks then shrugged and smiled. Meme responded with a smile of his own and got ready to start shooting.

He heard  a loud growling and thought it was Socks but instead it was a charger that came sprinting at him, grabbing him and smashing him into a wall. He screamed in pain at the impact and felt himself being released a few seconds later as the charger seemed occupied with something else. Meme saw Socks dodging the chargers' punches and firing.
"COME GET ME PUNK!" Socks shouted and the charger tried to punch him again but socks just weaved to the side he then slashed at the charger with his claw-like hands and continued to fire. Eventually the charger fell dead.
"Man those things take a lot of bullets to kill." Socks panted.
"SOCKS WHAT THE HECK?!" Meme shouted. Socks turned to look at meme
"What?" Socks asked.
"YOU COULD'VE GOTTEN YOURSELF KILLED!" Meme screamed.
"So could've you." Socks pointed out.
"Guys, elevators on! Let's get moving!" Ally shouted.
"Let's go then." Socks inhaled sharply and jogged to the elevator meme following closely behind.

They eventually all got in the elevator, it was tight and uncomfortable but they made it down.
"Im never doing that again," Meme breathed.
"Well you're going to have to when we go back up." Woolf pointed out.
"Oh god-" Meme groaned in annoyance.
Socks laughed quietly, then he glanced through the sugar cane and saw At least 5 witches crying in a group.
"That's so many witches-" Socks breathed.
"I'm gonna start crying myself soon." Nadwe whined. Socks patted his head and Nadwe sighed.
"Let's get going the gas station is on the other side of the field." Ally whispered quietly.
"Let's go." Laff responded in the same tone.
They ran through quickly Nadwe sticking close to socks for some reason but of course socks didn't argue, Meme was also sticking close to Socks eventually they made it on the other side.
"They call that a suger cane field it's more like a minefield." Blaza panted. Everyone laughed at that.
"There's the gas station!" Ally shouted. She pointed towards a building and ran inside. She closed a safe room door and sighed with relief.
"We're safe!"
