The Scorpion Den. A battleground. One body there, another body here, The wind whispers rumors, spreading around the desert, sliding between the bodies of dragons, fighting for food. The narrow streets, packed with golden-brown dragons.

A little dragon named Ra arched his back high, squeezing his eyes shut against the sand. Queen Thorn had announced that she would put up covers to prevent sand from flying into the village, and he was really looking forward to that.

His mother had died due to a Dragonbite Viper, striking at her while she was doing her duties, collecting water. Her name was Mirage. Oh, how Ra missed her... And his father was one of the Outclaws. He managed the pool. But he fell sick. His name was Anubis.

Ra was an orphan now.

He recalled Anubis's last words. "My little sun, you must light the path of yours. Your mother and I... We can't help you anymore. Guide your talons, Ra. Follow your heart. We will follow in the sky... We love... you... Never...Give...Up-" Then he had fallen limp, eyes gazing at him, Ra's reflection reflecting in the white, blank eyes.

Ra repeated those words to himself every single day.  He had a scroll library in his tent. When Ra was lonely and sad, he would go to the scroll library and pick a scroll out.

He shuffled into his tent, feeling uncomfortable. He had squished his way through the crowds. He felt as if his stomach got smashed! He dusted himself off and nustled on a red and orange mat. Mirage's mat. He picked up a scroll.

The Scarab Eye. He had already read it. Sandstorm! He didn't like that one that much. The Lost Princess. The story of Tsunami, the bossy SeaWing in the Dragonets of Destiny. He picked the scroll off the shelf and started reading.

Sand was suddenly sprayed on the mat. Ra gasped and quickly dusted the mat. His playmates, Scorpio and Sphinx were standing above him. "Ra, come on! Get away from your scrolls! Let's play!"

"Fine, but don't stab me," Ra warned cautiously as Scorpio's tail hovered dangerously close to his face.

They scrambled out of the tent, and Ra closed the tent's flap. He didn't want sand blowing in, otherwise, he would have to sleep on prickly and itchy sand.

He then saw hordes of SandWings hissing and fighting. Claws were flashing. They were fighting over a camel.

A SandWing stood on a giant rock. Heatstroke. "Whoever wants to fight, gather under this rock!" Ra, Scorpio, and Sphinx shivered. They edged away, but however, many SandWings flew over.

The world was violent, especially in Pyrrhia, where you can fight others with fire, venom, and barbs.

The world was horrible with fighting. Some of them were doing it for fun.

The world. A place of teeth and claws.
