Hi! First chapter of my first story. :D

Mum is gone. GONE! She can't be . She 's always been there for me and dad. She can't be..

Tears filled leaflight's eyes as she remembered her mother, Pine's last words before she went to see queen thorn. She was going on a business trip for Queen Glory when she encountered some rouge mud wings, they stole her stuff, tied her up and left her to die.

We didn't find her in time.., we should have gone sooner, we should have saved her.

This is exactly what happened to my mother. She went insane when her family died,

And now it's happening to me!

It wasn't her that was the worst now. Her father, Nightfall, had changed. He used to be kind and happy, but now he's cruel and mean!

"Leaflight, stop daydreaming and make me some food," he growled at her.

"Um, yes father," she replied instantly.

She flew up to the rainforest orchard farm and got 3 ripe mangoes. The rain wings and night wings had connected the two villages into one so now it was easier to get food.

"Why do I even bother,"she mumbled as she uses animus magic to make a mango pie.

Then she flies back to her father.

"Took ya long enough," he snaps at her, nearly making her drop the pie. It's the same every day:

Cook, Work, Cook, Work, Cook,

There are no breaks, she does all the housework and cooking. Of course she uses animus magic to do all those things, but it's still tiring.

The next day as she's flying to get some fruit she sees a flier advertising Jade Mountain Academy.

She walks inside the straw hut and picks up a flier. Suddenly a pink rain wing materialises behind her, giving her a shock.

"So, you want to go to JMA, do you?" She asks, and she sounds pretty menacing for a bright pink rainwing.

"Yeah, what's it to you," Leaflight responds grumpily.

She says nothing but turns invisible again after slipping Leaflight a folded piece of paper.

It says,

Blossom, Rainwing Assassin.

So she's an assassin. Makes sense.
