Your pov.

Blue. All around you was deep, blue ocean. You and your brother Goku were flying to rescue #17 for ToP. You weren't happy about his decision, considering you literally hated #17. You two weren't on best of terms and let's just say that he hated you as well.

You looked at your brother as he was flying next to you with that goofy smile on his face and you asked him: "Goku, why do you need me to come with you and rescue #17? You know we hate each other, right?" He looked at you and laughed, scratching his head in response: "It's a surprise (YN)."

You sighed and shooked your head. You looked back and you saw an island. Before you said anything, Goku told you: "It looks like we found it. Come on (YN), race you there!" You smirked and you speed up, leaving Goku behind you.

Time skip

"So #17, what do you say? Will you help us save the universe?" You slowly opened your (EC) eyes as you heard Goku explaining the situation to #17. He didn't even looked at you, he was looking at your brother and listening to him.

When you arrived on the island, you and Goku fought some guys who wanted to steal the animals there. While fighting, #17 appeared and he helped you even though you didn't need it. Then Goku explained everything to #17, while you were resting in the shadow under the tree.

You heard #17 sigh and looked at him. He was looking down on the island with scowl on his face. He turned back to look at Goku and he told him: "I don't know Son Goku. I am Ranger here, on this island. I can't leave it unprotected. Someone could steal the animals as you saw earlier."

Goku smiled at that and he laughed: "Goten and Trunks could protect the island. I mean, no one would try to steal them when the boys will be here, right?" You snickered at him and he smiled at you.

You looked at #17 and your smile was replaced by a scowl. You couldn't let your guard down. You were still in the presence of your rival.

#17 looked at Goku and he asked him: "Son Goku, why is your sister here?" Before Goku could have answered him, you growled: "It's not of your damned business #17." Goku sighed and he told you: "Come on (YN). The reason I brought you with me is that while I will be rescuing other fighters, you will stay here with #17 and you both with train with each other."

Your (EC) eyes widened in shock and you gasped: "Goku, you can't be serious?! I hate him and he hates me too! We can't train together, we will kill each other." Surprisingly, #17 agreed with you for the first time: "As much ask I don't like to agree with her, she is right Son Goku. We would kill each other."

Goku just smiled at him: "You see, you are already agreeing on the same thing! You don't hate each other anymore." You sighed at your brother's stupidity. "Goku, we still hate each other. It's not like we just agreed on one thing, we will be best friends now. No way. Only over my dead body." #17 nodded at what you said.

You looked at him with shock on your face as he agreed with one more time. He was shocked as well. With you both looking at each other, you didn't saw Goku smiling at you.

Time skip

After that, you three went to Bulma's place to have a huge dinner. Everyone was there, because well, this could be your last dinner before the universe will be destroyed.

You were staying on the balcony, drinking (FD) and looking at sky, thinking. You saw someone stand next to you and you looked at the said person. #17 was standing next to you, his arms crossed on his chest.

You looked back at the sky as he started talking: "Why do you hate me so much (YN)?" You smiled as you asked him: "Why are you asking? Why the sudden change of heart?" You saw that he smiled as well: "I am asking just in case you know. Maybe we will die, so I want to know why you hate me. Is that to much to ask for?"

You shooked your head: "No, it's not. It just surprised me a little bit. You should know why I hate you, you know? You tried to kill my brother after all." He looked at you with small smile on his face: "So that's why, huh? And here I thought why you hate me when it was quite obvious."

You smiled with mischief in your (EC) eyes and you asked him the same question he asked you earlier: "How about you? Why do you hate me? I didn't tried to kill you or your sister out of nowhere."

He laughed a little and you cracked a smile: "For a stupid reason really. I know it meant so much to me back then, but now I don't even know. I guess we weren't talking to one another, so I made a picture of you and I started to hate you? Yeah, maybe that was it."

You finally looked at him and you smiled: "You know, you aren't that much of a bad person as I thought you are. You are actually a pretty cool dude." He smirked at you: "The feeling is mutual. You are pretty cool yourself. How about this. When we win the ToP, we can try to get to know each other better. What do you say (YN)? You up for that?"

You nodded as you stretched your head toward him to shake it: "Deal #17. Even though you know everything about me, we can try to get to know each other a little better." He shooked your hand: "Deal (YN). And don't worry, I don't think I know everything about you."
