Y/n P.o.v

I really loved my boyfriend Tora, I really wanted to be with him for the rest of my life, but here lately, he's been, different. He seems as if he is in a bad mood all of the time and just been acting distant. I sat on my couch, waiting for him to come, but he never showed up.

I waited until the next morning to even look for him, I did worry about him the entire time though. I walked over to Bardock's house to see if Tora had went over there, I knocked on the door. Gine answered the door, not looking too happy, "what do you want?" My eyes narrowed, "I'm just here to see if Tora had came over to see Bardock and stayed here for the night." She snarled, "like I'd ever let your boyfriend around here." With that, she slammed the door in my face. I walked around, looking for him, not being able to find him, I was really worried about where he had gone.

Years had passed since Tora had disappeared, I still hadn't gotten over him. I was walking to my pod as we were on another planet for a mission. I saw a familiar male, he walked towards me with a small smile. I carefully looked at him as he chuckled, "long time, no see Y/n, how's life?" My heart dropped as I hugged him tightly, he hugged me but then pushed me away. "I really missed you, I still love you!" He looked away, "listen, I can no longer see you, that's why I disappeared." My face felt like it was on fire, "what do you mean Tora?" He rubbed the back of his neck, "I have a family now, I can no longer see you, I have two kids, a beautiful wife!" I started to cry, I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Listen Tora, I think it's best if I talk to her." He nodded and walked away, "he's just joking." I told myself, Bardock shook his head, "he isn't joking Y/n." I shook my head, "watch, he'll be waiting for me at home." I got into my pod and took off back for our home planet, hoping my dream was true.

When I arrived back, I walked inside, looked around and didn't see him. I sat on the couch, waiting silently, "he'll be back." I told myself softly as I waited, hoping for his return.

Bardock p.o.v

It had been a few days since I've heard from Y/n, usually she'd be out and about or out on her porch. I walked over and knocked on the door, there was no answer. Something didn't feel right so I wiggled the knob, it came open as I peeked inside. I ran in quickly as I caught a glimpse of her body laying on the floor, I quickly picked her up, shaking her, trying to get her up. "Y/n! What did you do to yourself?!" I screamed at her, she wasn't responding. I looked over her, not too far was a bottle, she had overdosed. I remembered my medical training and started pushing on her stomach, trying to pump her stomach. I got her to throw up every thing after a while, she started to get better and was moving. I picked her up, setting her in her bed, trying not to break down from what had happened. "Why did you do that?" She looked away, "I thought he was joking, I wanted him to do the opposite of what he said." There was a knock on the door, I got up to see who it was. When I opened the door, Tora stood there, my eyes narrowed. "Can I see Y/n?" I shook my head, "she just tried killing herself over you, I don't think so!" I slammed the door in his face, going back to her room to lay with her. I didn't know what made me want to, but I did.
