Adrien looked at Lila like she was crazy. Her plan, to move on from Marinette was insane. He didn't know how to respond to it. They sat in a coffee shop after school, across from the school while it rained. "What?" He lifted a brow as she stared into her cup.

"Go up to Alya, and apologize for killing her only friend for starters." Lila took a sip of her coffee then looked out the window at the cold fall noon. It was so comforting to her.

"She'll stab me if I do that." Adrien gulped and straightened his back, a chill going down his back at the thought of going near Alya.

"No she won't and the plan is simple. Apologies to Alya, then do it to Nino. Talk to Marinettes parents about it, then talk to Chloe about her death. Get a weeks worth of good sleep and eat right then talk it over with a counselor. You have this Adrien." Lila smiled at him.

"I don't think I can. She said she hated me and, and I'm the reason her best friend is dead." Adrien balled his hands into fists on the table as tears threatened to leave his eyes. He wouldn't, no, couldn't talk to Alya. Just seeing someone who cared about Marinette like he did tore him apart.

Lila held his hand on the table and he looked up at her. "You can do it. Tomorrow at school, apologize." Adrien sighed and nodded.

The next day Adrien wore his hoodie, jeans and tennis shoes, a few slits added on his arms from pent up sadness boiling out and his hair a mess. He saw Alya talking to Nino on the other end of the courtyard and gulped. He saw Lila and she nodded and he walked over to them. Alya glared at him while Nino smiled. "A-Alya, I-I'm sorry I killed your best friend," He didn't looked at her and found the ground more interesting then anything. Everyone was looking at the three. "I-I'm sorry I'm the reason you're best friend is dead, when I should be." Alya softened her glare while Nino grew worried.

"Adrien, dude, what're you talking about?" Nino looked at Adrien, worry plastered on his face.

"I-If I was there when she attacked then she could've just killed me and go on with life," Tears threatened his eyes as he spoke. Both teens looking at the boy with saddened, worried looks. "I should be dead, not her. I-I-I-I'm so s-s-sorry," Tears went down his cheeks as he spoke yet went unseen with his head still hanging low. He wiped off his face before slightly looking up. "I-I should go." He walked away fast and Alya and Nino looked at him.

"Wait, Adrien!" Alya called out but it was too late, he was already hidden away somewhere in the school that no one but him and his lady knew about. They would go there, out of costumes but with masks on and talk for hours. He sat down and cried into his knees as he looked around himself. No one knew about it so no one was there to clean messes they had made by accident. He saw books they would read to each other and plates upon plates stacked in a corner. One of them had to wash them but neither did it.

He cried into his knees more, Lila seeing the door open a little and walking in, sitting next to him. "Adrien," She put his hand on his shoulder and he flinched. "Adrien, you were doing so good. What happened out there?"

"I," Adrien didn't know what to say. He sighed and wiped away his tears. "I-It's nothing." He looked away from her, moving his head fast that it messed up his hair more.

Lila looked around at everything. "What is this place?" She looked back at Adrien.

"I uhm, found it a while ago. I think Ladybug and Chat came here. There names are carved into the wall." Adrien hugged his knees and pointed to the wall. Lila looked at it, tracing her fingertips over the carved names. Ladybugs more cursively while Chats was more rugged and sharp with no curves.

"They're so different, like they're soulmates," Adrien scoffed at the word. "Something wrong?" Lila walked over to him and sat across from him, tilting her legs to the side and folding her hands across her lap.

"Soulmates don't exist, at least mine doesn't."

"How do you know that?" Adrien blushed. He couldn't tell her, could he?

"M-Marinette was my soulmate."

"And how do you know?"

"A man we both knew told me," he looked at his hands and sighed. Lila tilted her head to the side then sighing and standing up. "I really miss her."

"Everyone does." Lila walked to the door and left Adrien to be alone with his thoughts. But that was her first mistake.
