but the skies have never been more brighter,
the laughter never more merrier;
yet still I yearn for those skies,
for comforting skies so stormy
bearing rain that cleanses, smell that soothes,
and pitter-patter music;
I yearn for those skies that take me home

Dear diary,

Tonight, as the raindrops play a soft melody on my window, I find myself wandering through the corridors of nostalgia, the moments when rain became the silent witness to the shared intimacy between us.

It was a Sunday evening, the sky was draped in quilt of clouds, hinting at the possibility of rain.
As the first raindrops kissed the earth, we found ourselves stealing quick glances and giving a hinting smile. With a carefree spirit, we decided to embark on a spontaneous adventure.

As we stepped outside from our office, the raindrops hit our face, and instead of seeking shelter, we decided to revisit our childhood. We danced through puddles like children, our laughter blending with raindrops on the leaves.
Without words, we exchanged glances, that this was a moment meant to be embraced without reservations. As we walked side by side, the world seemed to blur around us, leaving only the two of us and the gentle patter of rain.

We found shelter beneath an old oak tree, its branches providing a makeshift umbrella. Our fingers found each other naturally, sharing the warmth as the raindrops traced patterns on our hands. In that moment, the world faded away, leaving only the intimate space between us and the sweet, earthy fragrance of rain-soaked earth.

Avni suddenly stepped forward. She hesitated for a moment, and then opened her arms feeling the rhythm of raindrops. She danced twirling and skipping through the rain. The world around her faded into a blur as she surrendered herself to the dance, her worries and fears washed away by the rhythm of the moment.

As the rain began to subside, she stood in awe staring intensely into my eyes and suddenly kissed leaving me spellbound. It was just a spur of the moment but the effect was profound. I stood there blinking at her. As she slowly started withdrawing I pulled her into me suddenly waking up from this stupor and kissed back conveying exactly what I felt at that moment. I thought this is what they mean by time stills.

I am reminded that our love was not only about weathering storms but also about turning into children and dancing in the rain letting go of all worries. There's something enchanting about finding joy in unexpected places and embracing spontaneity.
