"Mister Anderton," a maid by the name of Bernadette told the head butler of the Northcott family. "You got a letter."

"Thank you Bernadette," Valerian thanked the maid before sending her off to clean the dining room. Valerian, or Valerie to most, looked at the letter. He recognized the wax seal and the name, Everett James.

He opened the letter and began to read. He chuckled once he saw Mister James put 'Miss Valerie A' instead of 'mister'. He didn't specify in his letter that he was in fact a man, so he understood the mix up. He smiled a little from the thank you.

Today was one of his only days off so he went to his room to write back to Mister James.

Dear Mister Everett James,

It was no I convince at all, Mister James. In fact I love to help people. It's a passion of mine if you will.
