Heya!

How are ya all doing?

Now without further ado let's get started.

Now today we'll discuss the matters of self respect.

First of all, when I looked it up:

Meaning;

Self respect is defined as holding yourself in esteem and believing that you are good and worthy of being treated well. An example of self respect is when you know you deserve to be treated right and, as a result, you do not tolerate others lying to you or treating you unfairly.
Having self-respect helps others to see and treat you with dignity and worth. Often the backbone of self-respect is knowing your values and living by them. Having self-respect often means that you need to stand by your character and be willing to defend your values and actions.

Now self-respect  is an important  part of the  human character  and without  this a person  doesn't  know  their own worth, can't understand whats right and wrong  for them, has problems  standing up for themselves. And people  who  are low on self-esteem (respect) are likely to suffer  their whole lives.

Again  like every other  good  trait this one is also built on one's will and not  passed on at birth.

How  do you build your  self-esteem?

The first  step is to observe. Observe  yourself,  your  surroundings, the people and see what  is your fault  and what are  other's. And how will  you know  your  fault? Well ask your conscience. Cause  what most people  forget  is that your  conscience warns you only if you listen to it. If  you make  mistakes,  it's fine, just try to correct them see why you made them.  Not everyone is perfect, having flaws is okay but problems that are holding you back ?  No. But if you're  as clumsy as me then  don't bother, cause you'll  trip on the clear and smooth  floor anyways, No matter how hard  you try not to.😑😅 Just kidding  you'll  get smarter someday 😉

The second step is to stand up for yourself. Yes you stand up for yourself,  doesn't matter how long  you've  stayed quiet, no matter  how long  you've been pushed around  you  will  stand up from  today.  And by fighting for yourself I don't  mean fighting like an idiot  observe  your  situation  and take sensible and cleaver steps to solve your  problem  and  for that you need to observe  like I mentioned before.  If you're being  bullied  then inform  your family or the school authorities, if that  doesn't  work  sharpen your tongue, don't  use violence  unless needed, use your  arguments  to get your  point  across  that  you are not  to be messed with. Don't let anyone mistake  your  kindness for your weakness  and your respect  for your  fear (if some bish copies the second half of this line then I'll throttle them) . Be kind  and respectful  but know  your  rights  and live by them. Just cayse you've never fought  before  doesn't  mean  you shouldn't there's  a first time  for every  thing.

These are my ideas to increase self-esteem or respect.

Now this doesn't  relate  to the topic  but it was the  most important  teaching  coming from my mother  dearest  who is the reason  why I am who I am.

I was three when I entered  school  and I was the smallest one from all the kids so therefore an easy target. I was bullied  and always  stood up for myself  to this day I  do and I try to never let anyone  walk over  me cause when I was five, I  wanted  to give up standing up for myself  thats when my mum told me:

"Darling  never and I  repeat  never bow down to injustice  even if you're  the only  one standing up, you will  stand strong, I raised no coward, go and fight  for your rights, raise your voice and don't just cry and let your tears be in vain."

Yea and these words said by her have been the fuel to my ambition  to this  day. So you  see there is no problem  in changing  for the best. Also it's so true that's  words cut deeper than knives cause my moms words  left  a huge impact  on me and am forever grateful to her. So if you can then give someone  some good  advice and it will  return  to you.

The reason  why I wrote  on self-respect  is because its every  human gift to cherish, and people,  especially  women often  times burn their  own  respect. And why am I indicating  this part to my fellow ladies?  Well cause the sad truth is  that women  are mostly  abused by the hands of the  members of their own sex. Mothers teach  their  daughters  that study all the time but don't  use it go marry  a rich  man, be a gold digger and such his money, cause whatever  he does to you  doesn't  matter you have to stay with  him. Father's  teach their sons to never take care of their  wives  or girlfriends causes  well taking  care  of your wife makes you  unmanly? It make them simps?

Now thats what I  wanna know? Mothers, what in world  are you teaching  you daughters?  You're teaching them to be a gold digger?

Fathers, what in the world  are  teaching  your  sons, to be abusive? You're  teaching  them to be violent  in the name of manly?

Anyways let me end my rant  with
