Jules Monroe never had a stable home life growing up, with an abusive father who left physical scars on her body and a mother who was never really there due to being high on whatever illegal substances she could get her hands on. Despite that upbringing, Jules managed to become a somewhat functional adult who got into Georgia State with a multitude of grants that helped pay for her tuition.

Genevieve Rhee, better known as Eve, has always dreamed of changing the world for the better by becoming a teacher. However, growing up as a gifted child caused Eve's dream to become simply unattainable. The simple reason being Eve's parents and her incessant need to please them. So because of that when Eve got into Georgia State on a full-ride scholarship, she chose to major in pre-medicine not education like she wanted.

Sawyer Walsh has been chasing his older brother's shadow ever since he could remember. With the main reason being that Sawyer wanted nothing other than to be respected and loved like his brother was. So because of that desire, Sawyer joined the army straight out of high school, like his brother. Then, after finishing four years of service, joined the police academy and became an officer at the same station his brother did.

These three had the rest of their lives relatively figured out, but all that planning goes to waste when the dead arise and viciously consume the living. Will they adapt to the new, nefarious landscape of the world or succumb to its violent horrors?

Hello my lovelies!! Welcome to Decay of Vitality....the slight rewrite of No, Body No, Crime (The previous name of this book!). Now, I don't have much to say for this author note besides, I hope you all enjoy the story I created!! Also precede and read with caution since this is a fanfic of a mature apocalyptic series. I'll be adding trigger warnings to some chapters though when I think it might be necessary.
