author's note: okay so if you know me, then you know that outlander is literally my life. it's all that i talk about lmao and i'm sorry if i ever annoyed you with my endless rantings about the show and the characters or even my fics. and yes, i did say fics. i'm going to be writing a fergus fic as well bc i adore him!

but anyway, brian honestly means everything to me and i am very proud of his story, his development, and the relationships he has with all the canon characters. i'm most excited to write him and brianna together bc their sibling dynamic is EVERYTHING. they've got that "it's a twin thing" going on and it's honestly the best

also, yes, you read the summary correctly, he does have three love interests lol. katherine johanson is his girlfriend in 1968 (they have a pre-established relationship in the first chapter), dorothea pembroke is the girl jocasta arranges for him to marry during his stay at river run, and the lovely moira hawethorne is his endgame! it'll be a little while before brian meets moira tho considering i'm starting this story at the season two finale, but trust me when i say that the wait will be worth it!
