"Alright great escape artist, what's are next move?" Drew asked as the stood together in the cell.

"Melt the bars?" May asked.

"Worth a shot," Drew said. May nodded and strode over to the bars and grabbed two bars. They were skinny bars so they were able to melt easily, and May pushed them aside to make a big enough hole, to which Drew cooled down with his wind.

"Since when did you have that?" May asked.

"What, sad you're not special?" Drew asked, winking at her.

"Shut up," she rolled her eyes. They slipped through the bars and into the rest of the slim rectangular room. A key pad stood by a tunnel that was their exit.

"We don't know the code, but it's open, so I think we can just walk right through," May said. Drew nodded as they stepped together into the tunnel. They walked undisturbed until the middle. A light on the ceiling started to flash red, and a siren began to wail as the passed by it. Suddenly. A loud metal crash was heard as a gate towards the back of the tunnel closed. The two began to run, hand in hand as gates shut behind them. They ran out of the tunnel just a split second before the last gate closed.

"Well, so much for sneaking our way out," Drew said.

"Quiet," May said. A door burst open as a dozen Magma grunts can flooding into the room. They were up against an army of crimson. Drew shot a wind current, knocking back several of the grunts before May came in with her fire, causing enough distraction to escape through another tunnel, much shorter than the other. They ended up in a room filled with many different doors.

"Now what?" May asked aloud.

"We try one of the doors, and fast!" Drew snapped. He grabbed her hand, ignoring the shocks, and he picked one of the doors. They ran down a slender hallway before it emptied out into a large room, with many different machines, however, one looked familiar.

"I think this is the worst tunnel we could have picked," May said as they walked in, taking in the surroundings.

"Really? You don't say? Well that's just typical," Drew said bitterly.

"It's just not fair.. isn't it?" Brianna's voice came from behind them, at the hallway's entrance. "How sad, you end up picking the door to the area you want to be in the less, it's quite ironic," she said, laughing.

"We weren't supposed to start the procedures until later, but, now works I suppose," a man said from behind Brianna. His gaze was sharp behind his glasses. He had visible wrinkles, only increasing his piercing persona. He stood tall and proud, dressed in a red suit that matched the color of his grunt's outfits.

"What do you want with us!" Drew growled.

"The girl will be very useful in our plans to go back in time to capture primal groudon. Pity such a pretty girl will be sacrificed. As for you, dear boy, you will have the honor of becoming my son in law," the man said, as if it was obvious.

"If you somehow succeed, I would never marry her," Drew snarled, tightening the grip he had on May's wrist. Bolts of electricity were sparking out of their hands, a sign their powers were fusing together. They had then realized, that together, they made lightning.

Brianna made a move to lunge at Drew but he forced her back with a gust of wind. He swirled up an air current around them, keeping Brianna and the man with her at bay. The arrival of the grunts from earlier couldn't break through.

"I need you to trust me," He said, staring deeply into May's eyes.

"Give me you're other hand," Drew said. May obliged. The sparks intensified as they made a connection. Suddenly, Drew leaned close and whispered in her ear.

"I love you," his breath tickled her ear, but before she could respond, his grip on her hands grew tighter as he pulled her towards him, and met her lips with his. A forcefield of electricity sprung up around them. He pulled her as close as he could to him, deepening the kiss as the electricity built up.

Tears leaked out of May's shut eyes as she realized what would happen next, but kept her focus on Drew, and the feelings she felt for him, as well as the feeling of his lips moving against hers. The Electricity flared up before sucking in towards them. It then shot outward, destroying everything around it. The base came crashing down. On everybody.
