In court (for the case of Omkara's property in Bareilly)

Tej was in Baluster (katehra) , for cross questioning ny prosecutor.
after Tej took the oath judge started.

Judge : Record k lye apna nam bataiye ??

Tej : Tej Singh Oberoi

Judge noted something, and prosecutor started Questioning

Prosecutor : Mr. Tej kia yeh sach hai k Bareilly vali property ap k bety yani Omkara Singh Oberoi k naam hai ?

Tej looked at Omkara who with expressionless face was sitting behind the Jury Box.

Tej : Ji yeh sach hai

Prosecutor : Aur Mr. Omkara singh Oberoi ko is barey mai kuch nahi maloom !?

Tej : Ji Qk uska accident hua tha and he is suffering from amnesia.

Prosecutor : Aur is bat py court kysy yakeen karey Mr. Oberoi?

Tej's Lawyer (Viren) : Objection your honour..
Prosecutor sahab shyd bhool rahy hain k aj hi Omkara singh Oberoi ki medical reports court mai di gayi hain

Prosecutor : Exactly your honour.. adalat kysy yakeen karey k vo reports asli hain, aur jaali nahi banvai gayen ! Aur Mr. omkara koi acting nahi kr rahy

Tej (angry+ loud) : Meri baat suniye Mr...
Mery bety k pas itna fazool vakt nahi hai k property k lye acting krta phiray
Us ka pichly mahiny accident hua tha aur agr ap mazed tassali chahty hain to zra research kr lijiye. qk yeh news media pr bhi ayi thi..

Judge : Order order ! Maintain the decorum of court

Tej : sorry your honour !

Meanwhile Omkara kept looking at Tej thinking he genuinely cared for him.

After some more questions, Omkara was called for Questioning for which viren objected saying Omkara wasn't well and didn't remember anything regarding this.
But prosecutor took permission from judge saying he wouldn't question anything that would harm his health.
After Omkara took oath, he started Questioning.

Prosecutor : jaisa k Vakeel aur Mr. Oberoi ny bataya k you're suffering from amnesia

Om : ji ??

Prosecutor : mtlb apko kch yaad nahi hai ?

Om : ji nahi..

Prosecutor : to phr apko apni is property k barey mai kysy yad tha jis k lye ap ny case Kiya ?

Om : Mjy yaad nahi tha.. mjy dad ny bataya !!

Prosecutor : dad ?? Interesting..
To you call him dad now

Om : Ji mai smjha nahi ??

Tej knew where prosecutor was dragging the conversation but couldn't do anything.

Prosecutor : Kia apko yaad nahi---
I am sorry.. apko yad nahi !!
Lekin yeh baat sab janty hain junior and Senior Oberoi ki nahi banti due to some reasons and--

Viren : Objection your honour.
Mr. Prosecutor mud'day ce bhar jarahy hain ! Aur mery muakkil ki niji zindgi discuss kr rhy hain

Judge : Yes Mr. Sinha (prosecutor) , asli mud'dy pr rahiye

Prosecutor : mai vaheen arha hoon your honour... Just give me a minute.

Judge : Sure.

Prosecutor : to..Mr. Omkara , seeing your blank face mai andaza laga skta hoon k ap k ghar valo ny apko is barey mai kch nahi bataya

Om couldn't answer but looked at Tej who sighed and looked down.

Let it be.. to point yeh hai Mr. Omkara, apki in ce past mai kabi bani nahi hai, yahan tk k you had never called him dad since long.
Apki yadasht jany k bad apko kch bataya nahi jata..
Don't you think vo apka faida utha skty hain ? Apki yadasht jany ka..! Apko misguide kr skty hain?

Om : I don't think so Mr. prosecutor.
Mjy nahi yaad k mera un ce past mai kysa relation raha hai..
Lekin itna to mjy yakeen hai k maa baap bacho ka bura nahi chahty and i trust him..vo jo b kr rhy hain mery lye kr rhy hain..

Tej who was so anxious when conversation was dragged to their relation, now felt proud ,relieved and overwhelmed listening to his son and his eyes became wet.

They were told that  there would be another trail after some days and then final decision will be made.

On the way back, Tej asked driver to stop in front of 'Oberoi Empire'. He said he had something important to do and he'll be back in 10 to 15 minutes.

Omkara kept sitting there thinking about the events took place in court,
What kind of relationship he and his dad shared?
Why didn't his family tell him about this?

He was in pool of thoughts when a shop named  'The Artistkary' caught his attention.
He moved out of the car and entered the shop looking at paints, clay, paint brushes and other related stuff .
Nostalgic it seemed.

He immediately looked back to find Tej there.
Omkara sighed.

Tej : sb thk hai ?!

Om : hmmm ! This shop.. it seems so attractive. Mai kincha chala aya jaisy !

Tej (smiled) : Qk tm Artist ho Omkara

Om : I know.. lekin kch aur b hai !
mery kch incomplete sculptures aur paintings dekhi hain mai ny jo mai complete nai kr pa rha !
Aur pr pata nahi kabi kr paonga b yaa nahi

Om placed hand at his shoulder.

Tej : zaroor beta ! Tm zaroor complete krogy..
Abi bht kch hai jo tmhy mukamal krna hai

Om smiled a little.

Om : chalen !?

Tej was taking coffee for himself and Jhanvi to the room, when he Saw Omkara sitting at the poolside.

Tej stopped for a moment, and then
Moved to omkara and sat beside him,Offering him coffee.
Omkara with a little smile accepted it.

Tej sensed he was probably thinking about what happened in court.
After a moment, he started the conversation.

Tej : Omkara, court mai jo kch b keh rhy thy vo----

Om : Mjy nai pata dad, k ap sab ny mjy us sb k barey mai Q nahi bataya !
Yakinan aur b bht kch hai mery barey mai hi.. jo mai nahi janta ,

Tej : tm zada tension na lo, zada dimagh pr zor na dalo.. kaheen tmhari tabiyat na bigar jaye...bs isi lye---

Om : khair.. filhal mai is barey mai nahi soch raha tha

Jhanvi was going to Kitchen to see Tej, why was he taking so long ??!
And meanwhile Gauri searching omkara came there and both stopped seeing Tej and Omkara sitting beside pool, their backs facing them.
They smiled seeing each other and heard their conversation.

Om : that shop dad
Mery zehan ce nikal ni rha vo.. vo feeling, vo connection..

Tej : Qk beta Art tmhara passion hai lekin---!

Om : lekin??

Tej (sadly) : Lekin mai ny usy kabi tmhara Profession nai ban'ny diya !

Om looked at him surprised.

Om : ap nay ?!

Tej : yeh aik karwi sachai hy omkara k mei ny tmhary is talent ko hamesha ignore kya hy...
Beta vo shop ... ,, Vo Oberoi empire k samnay hai ,
Aur tm bht choty thy tb ce tmhy fascinate krti hai , vahan k cheezain vahan k rang..
Aur mai ny..
Beta mai ny tmhy us sb ce door kr diya !

Om : door kr diya mtlb ?! I guess mai abi b paintings banata tha

Tej : han Omkara, pr srf jab tmhy time milta, free time mai...

Mein chahta tha tm business mein aoo, tmhy us profession mai nai janay diya mai ny..
Qk.. (he took a deep breathe) Qk I thought you were a failure.

Omkara was just listening to his father and thought was this the reason they didn't share any strong father-son relationship ?

Pehly hi apny bachon ko kho kr blkl business ka hogya tha... Buht galtiyan hogaen lekn ab is galti ko sudharne ka yehi moqa hy !

Om: ghaltiyan kysi dad ?!

Tej (smiling): leave it.
Par tmrhy dad tmsy promise krty hain k duniya ki sb ce bari Art Gallery mai apny bety ki paintings ly kr jayenGy!!

Omkara smiled and Hugged Tej. Tej for a moment couldn't think anything. And then reciprocate the hug.
He hugged him so tight as if his grip went looser , he would loose his son . While tears flowed from his eyes.

Gauri and Jhanvi standing a little away wiped their tears and looked at each other smiling.

Jhanvi : Gauri beta.. mai soch rhi thi--

Gauri smiled at.

Ek Minute, tm b vohi soch rhi ho jo mai soch rhi hon ??

She nodded in excitement.

Chalo !

And they left.
