"You're Dave's ex, right?" The police officer asked me.

"Yes, I am"

"Where were you last night?"

"I was in my house only, specifically, in my room" she replied as casual as possible.

"Can I check your phone please?" He asked as she nodded and handed him her phone. She deleted Lydia's contact number from her phone so it was all fine. The officer checked the phone neatly for sometime and then handed her back.

The case lasted for just two months, later when they didn't find the body, they closed the case and gave up. It was going on very smooth, and also, with the case, June's sins were completely covered.

After two months: (June's POV)

"Hey girl, guess what?" Katie smiled and came to me. She seemed excited.

"What's up?" I asked

"It's already February, just two more months are left till we graduate!" She smiled brightly

"What's so exciting about it, dumbo? We are going to miss all our fun" Ava glared at her

"I know but still, I'm excited for my new life and can't wait to earn money!"

"Is money all you think about?" I chuckled

"Money is honey, my love, so it's a must" Katie said proudly as we laughed.

"It's really good to see you're doing fine now, June" Ava smiled at me

"Yeah, it's mostly because you two supported me through this time, I'm really grateful" I smiled back as they give me a group hug.

"Oh by the way, did you hear?" Katie asked, trust me, this girl has all the news of the University.

"No"

"The music club is going down and there's no one to volunteer for that"

"That's not something new, who case about that anyways" Ava said

" The teachers does and that's why we're going to have a new exchange student, they says that student is a terror and that's why got suspended from his previous University and since here we need to go on with the music club, he is coming here" Katie informed her

"He is a singer?" I asked

"I heard he does more like rap music but I doubt the music club would be as peaceful as before"

"Wow! That's means more fun? Cool!" Ava chripped as I smiled.

I just hope everything goes well from now. It sure was a bad idea for dating or maybe a bad person, but what happens happens for the best and I didn't know I would feel so peaceful knowing that Dave can't date anyone else now.

I returned home after the long day. Mom was busy with her work and dad was making some snacks

"Welcome home" he wished me

"Thanks dad" I said and directly went to my room

"Hey! I made snacks for you!" He shouted from downstairs

"Coming in an hour" I said and closed my door. This room reminds me of the old days when me and Dave used to play video games here and eat his favourite chips.

"Nothing changed at all" I smiled and opened my bed, leading to another small room, that room was filled with his pictures and stuffs.

"Guess it's time to burn the useless things" I said and started removing all his pictures.

"Bye mom" I waved and ran out of the house. I'm going to be late but who cares? I do!!

I reached my university and entered. There was usual howling among the students. I silently walked among them, looking nowhere but the floor, till I reach my class.

"June!"

I looked above to see Ava waved towards me. I smiled "Hey!"

"Come fast! The show is about to start!"

"What show?" I asked, coming near her

"The talent show. Did you forget we all have to present something unique to our class today?" She asked

"Uh...is it important?" I nervously smiled

"... don't tell me you actually forgot!!"

"Yeah, actually. No worries, I'll tell the teacher that I'm not participating, it's just for fun afterall nothing important"

"Aw man, that's sad" Katie said from behind, she has been reading a script the whole time.

"What are you doing tho?" I asked

"Preparing. Just wait and see, I'll give the best presentation ever" she smirked as we chuckled.

After sometime, we took our seats and all the students started entering the class. Reminds me, I reached school pretty fast actually. Our class teacher and also our sociology lecturer entered the class with a bundle of sheets and kept them on the table and wiped his sweat.

"Alright, I hope each and everyone is present here" he yelled as everyone nodded.

"ARE YOU ALL DUMB OR WHAT?! I ASKED SOMETHING!!" He again yelled.

"YESSSS SIR!!" Everyone shouted at the top of their lungs as the teacher glared.

"Good good" he fixed his spects and looked through his sheets "Okay, so a new student is supposed to be here... who's the new one?"

No one responded.

"Well, I guess he isn't here then" he shrugged and started taking the attendance. The attendance was over and sir was about to start the class when heavy footsteps were heard.

"Excuse me?"

We all looked at the door, including the teacher to find a guy with an electric guitar on his back. He looked like those dudes on the streets with lots of piercings and tattoos.

"...yes?" The teacher asked

"I guess I'm supposed to be here from today so yeah, hi!" He said and entered inside the class and looked at us,

"Hello everyone, I'm Yuri" he said and proceeded to take a seat.

"EXCUSE ME, MISTER BUT YOUR BEHAVIOUR IS HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL!" The teacher yelled

"No one told you to judge" he gave him a bruh look and took a seat in the last bench.

"YOU-"

"Excuse me sir" the music teacher came running and whispered something to his ears. They talked for a while and sir nodded. After that the music teacher left.

"Okay, so let's start with the class" the sir said and opened his book when the new student again decided to open his mouth,

"Which period is it?"

Trust me, I didn't see Mr Alkolum this angry before.
