PHOENIX.

Seven years ago, just like Aicelyn was experiencing right now, all eyes were on me but mine was a little different. The students of Demigods Academy followed me yung tipong may pa-heart eyes pa sila sa pagsunod sa akin hanggang sa opisina ni Madam Stone.

But seriously, I was compared to the children of Hephaestus' just like Aicelyn being compared to children of Khione. Though children of Hephaestus' have different stages of power mine doesn't have. Red, orange, yellow, and blue was the stages of Hephaestus' blessings while mine was releasing the color of the sun.

Abala akong kumakain mag-isa rito sa market dahil na rin siguro iniwan nila akong tatlo. Some were stealing glances in my direction while the others are just staring at me and was waiting to be noticed. Kung mukha lang naman ang labanan ay siguro ako na ngayon ang hari sa Demigods Academy, ako kaya ang pinakagwapo sa aming apat na lalaki.

"Guys, I need your help. Malapit ako sa Amethyst street, may liblib na bahay rito ng blacksmith at may tatlong fury na sumugod dito." Uy! Adventure! I swiftly stood up and left drachmas on my table.

"Coming." I said.

"Papunta na kami. Malapit lang kami ni Aicelyn dyan." Sue said.

Pero paano nakapasok ang mga fury na 'yon sa Belster? It doesn't make any sense especially that Achaea is protected with barriers that protect the demigods in that first wall.

I was roaming eyes on the street signs just to locate Amethyst street.

Ruby street.

Pearl street.

And at last the Amethyst Street.

I halted from my tracks when I saw both Sue and Aicelyn. And before one of us could speak, we heard a shout coming from a certain house nearby. Parehas kaming nagkatinginan ni Sue nang biglang tumakbo si Aicelyn sa direksyon ng bahay.

Even with the distance ahead, I felt the sudden chill coming from the house. Sue and I decided to run in the house and at the front door flakes of ice were glistening.

Bumungad sa amin ang isang fury na nakakulong sa isang yelo.

"Sky!" Sue shouted. Sky was unconscious with blood dripping down his neck.

Sinulyapan ko ang blacksmith na nasa tabi ni Sky, "Did the fury bit Sky?" I asked.

"Yes." I tilted my head upang makita ko ang itsura niya. He is somewhat familiar to me and just I don't know where I saw him.

"Let's go." Aicelyn said. Sue helped me to lift Sky so I can make him ride at my back.

I saw the blacksmith holding a water sword,"I'm coming with you."

We are inside the infirmary. Labing tatlong oras na rin buhat noong mawalan ng malay si Sky. Kami lamang ni Aicelyn ang magkasama ngayon dahil bumibili sa labas ng pagkain si Sue. Aicelyn was busy reading something in the corner.

The blacksmith that was somehow familiar to me was actually one of the founders of Demigods Academy. He was Garet, the leader of the first batch of Primus.

"Nga pala Aicelyn Hailey Stone ang pangalan mo 'di ba? Anong ugnayan niyo ni Madam Stone? Nanay mo?"

Bigla naman nyang nabitawan yung libro. Nagulat ko ata. Gwapo mo talaga, Phoenix!

"Tita ko siya." She answered.

When the door opened, Sue was grinning while holding white plastics that contain several snacks. She was eyeing me suspiciously when she saw Aicelyn's expression.

"Anong namang ginawa mo kay Aicelyn? Bakit siya nanginginig?"

"Baka nilalamig?" I said. She gently put the things down and darkly looked at me. After that, she fuckin' slapped my nape.

"Tanga ka talaga! Yelo ang kapangyarihan ni Aicelyn tapos lalamigin? Mag-isip ka nga."

Aicelyn suddenly cleared her throat, she pointed the direction beside me. Sky was already awake and he was looking at us grumpily.

"Ang ingay niyo."

"Sleeping beauty." I heard Aicelyn said. Sky scowled and squinted his eyes towards Aicelyn who just mockingly shrugged her shoulder.

"Late kayo sa—"

"Instead of being thankful you're being inconsiderate," Aicelyn said that made Sky shut up.

Sky all of a sudden made a sheepishly look. He shyly scratches the back of his head and avoided our gaze, "Thank you." he said.

"So, how are you feeling?" I asked. Sky shrugged and touches his neck. "It's already gone, dude. They injected a vial in your body."

Vial is one of the medicines that were made by the famous doctor with the name 'Glifford', his name was popular especially to the doctors in town. He was known by traveling all the continent just to find rare herbals.

"I'm outta here," Aicelyn said. She walked her way to the door.

"Ingat ka, Ice." Sue said while waving. My eyes widened when Aicelyn halted for a moment. She suddenly faced us and smiled.

"I like it. Nice nickname for me." She said and then she exited the room.

Sue suddenly squealed. Lumingon pa ako sa kanya habang hinahampas ang braso ko,"OMD. She's really beautiful when she smiles!"

Both Sky and I didn't give any comment. An hour had passed when a nurse suddenly came and said that Sky can already go home.

When we arrived in the cabin, a delicious smell welcomed us. Tons of food were served on the table. Lahat kami ay napatigil dahil sa pigura ng babaeng nakatalikod sa amin, her hair was tied in a ponytail while she was struggling hard to remove the tie of the apron at her back.

"Pota." I heard Sky whispered and avoided his glance.

She was looking so cute at the moment. Well, to be honest, she's an ideal girl. At pwede naman kami dahil dinidisregard ang blood line namin sa aming mga godly parent but too bad I am already in love with someone who doesn't feel the same.

I was about to touch the strawberry cake when my hand all of a sudden turned into ice. "Don't touch my food." Aicelyn leered.

She's no longer cute. I melted the ice and poutingly seat in the chair. I was secretly glancing at the strawberry cake and Aicelyn was covering it while glaring at me.

Para siyang bata. Sige, say'o na at least gwapo ako.

"Pahingi ako—"

"No!" Aicelyn beamed. Sige, sa'yo na.

I heard Sue's soft laugh, she was watching us. Narinig niya siguro kung paano nag-damot ang babaeng 'to sa aking harap. Sue suddenly placed a vanilla cake in my front, "Cake rin 'to. 'Yan na lang kainin mo."

I was savoring the vanilla cake when my sight landed to Sky who was smirking while eating the mushroom soup, "You can make a good wife, Yelo."

Yelo?

Aicelyn glanced at Sky, "If it's you that I am going to serve. I think I'll pass, Langit."

Langit?

Sky and Aicelyn were smirking with each other. "Nice nickname for me. I like it." Sky teased.

"Are you mocking me?" Aicelyn asked.

I was eating while watching them. Patay malasya naman si Sue at kunwari na hindi naririnig ang dalawa naming kasama. Sky smirked at her and put his earphone on.

I gulped when I saw how anxious Aicelyn is. The fork she was holding was slowly freezing. The place started to get cold that made Sue facepalmed and scowled at Sky.

"Sky, you dimwit—" Sue wasn't able to finish her sentence when Sky's earphone suddenly freezes.

I awkwardly laughed because of the tension building up. There was a sphere of water slowly gathering on top of Aicelyn.

Oh, boy. Alam ko ang kahihinatnan nito.

Because of the clashing of the aura in the surrounding. I can easily tell that Aicelyn is also powerful just like Sky. When the water releases Aicelyn was able to avoid it but her eyes widened when the strawberry cake was now drowning.

I gaped when I saw her almost teary-eyed. SHE'S AFFECTED BY THE CAKE!

She glared at Sky who was also glaring at her.

Parehas silang tumayo na gigil sa isa't-isa.

"Hey, both of you stop." Sue scolded.

"Guys—" I wasn't able to stop them when I felt something on my body. Half of it was now drenching and the other half was frozen. I was blankly looking at my front, they were already gone.

I melted the ice and dried myself using my blessing. Sue was nervously looking at my back and when I turned, they are now clashing with each other.

Some of the things inside the cabin were drenching with water and some were frozen. My eyes widened when I saw my djinn case on the top of the countertop, I was about to run to save it but I was too late. It was now frozen, my poor djinn case.

"MY POOR DJINN CASE!"

"Phoenix! 'Wag ka ng makisali—" Hindi na naituloy ni Sue ang sasabihin niya nang matamaan ko yung kanyang paboritong sumbrero. Oh, shit.

"HINDI BA KAYO TITIGIL?!" Bigla namang kumulog ng malakas.

"Give me back my cake!"

"Why would I? You destroyed my earphone!"

"My poor djinn case!"

"You dimwits! My innocent hat!"

The cabin started to get eerie. We are all concentrating on our magical energy. We are about to release our anger towards each other when all of a sudden vines tangled in our bodies.

The door suddenly opens and a grumpy looking lady was glaring at us.

"Madam Stone."

"TO MY OFFICE NOW!"
