"AH!" I woke up from a nightmare. I frantically sat up, looking around, then at my hand. "Phew...." I sighed, getting out of bed. I heard a knock on my bedroom door. "Hey, you okay Haru?" It was Dazai. "Y-yes, it was a dream... Nothing to worry about." I said, my heart still racing. I decided to dress casually, since it was the weekend. I brushed my hair, and my teeth. I walked back to my room, and put on a pair of skinny jeans, and a t-shirt. I put on my cloak that Chuuya had given me, and put my boots on before walking out of my room again. "Good morning." Dazai said from the couch. I waved, as I sat down on the couch next to him. "Kunikida will be over soon." Dazai said, as we heard a knock on the door. "Speak of the devil." I laughed. Dazai stood up, and opened the door. "So, you've finally made up your mind?" Dazai asked, as Kunikida rolled his eyes. "I suppose." He replied, adjusting his glasses. "Let's go!" I ran out the door. "Well, have fun I guess." Dazai said, closing the door. "Cmon." I said, as he caught up to me. "Where to?" I asked. He shrugged. "I don't know, it's up to you." He said. "Wanna... Uh... Go to the park?" I asked with a smile. "Alright." He replied.

Timeskip!~

"Ooooooooh!" I said, staring into the pond of the park, watching small tadpoles wriggle their way through the water. I poked the surface, and they all swam away. "Aw..." I frowned. "You scared them. It was to be expected." Kunikida said.

He had been sitting on a bench near me. I walked over to the bench and sat down next to him. I looked down at the green grass, my hair shading my eyes. "You okay?" Kunikida asked. I gave no response. "Hey." He poked my arm. "Kunikida... Do you think my powers are scary?" I asked. "Well, in a sense, yes." He shrugged, flipping the pages in his notebook.

"..." I started to tear up. "I'm scared." I mumbled. "Why?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "I'm scared of my powers... Ever since I used my powers to detonate, I've been having nightmares over and over..." I said, Have you told Dazai?" Kunikida asked again. "..." I sighed, shaking my head no. "What's the point in telling him if he can't do anything about it?" I asked, wiping my eyes and controlling my emotions. "Then why did you tell me?" He asked, smiling slightly. "Because.... Uh..." I stuttered. "Because I can..?" I replied, shrugging. He rolled his eyes, and adjusted his glasses before reading his notebook again. I scooted closer to him, but he didn't notice. I scooted right next to him, as he closed his notebook. "You're trying to sneak a look again, aren't you?" He asked. "Maaaaaybe..." I giggled, leaning against his shoulder. I looked up at him, and he looked down at me. "I'm not showing you my Ideal." He grumbled. "Pleeeeaaase?" I asked. "I said no." He sighed. I pecked his lips. "Pleeeeeeeeease?" I had a childish smile on my face. "You're either ignoring me, or your deaf." He said, wrapping his arm around me. "We're going to get going soon, it's almost six." Kunikida looked at his watch. "Where are we going?" I asked. "Wherever you want to go, I suppose." He said, as I twirled his hair with my finger. "Stop." He grumbled. "Why are you always so grumpy?" I laughed. "Because I am." He said. "Uh-huh... Suuuuure..." I rolled my eyes. "You should smile more. It's fun." I grinned. "We're leaving." He stood up. "Alright. Where to?" I asked. "I told you that we can go wherever you want to go." He said, as I stood up. "Ooh!!!" I got an idea!" I smiled. "Where are we going?" He asked, as I pulled him along.
