The next morning, Dennis was sleeping with his hand hanging out from the bed. Murray gave Willie and Vivien's kids, Wyatt and Vinnie, an idea. They would put whipped cream on Dennis' hand and tickle his nose, using their fur. After a few attempts, Dennis smacks his face and whipped cream flies all over his face. He wakes up in confusion. Then he yells, "Who's idea was that?!"

He was ready to blame his kids until Murray laughs loudly and says, "You should have seen your reaction. It was the best!"

"Ha ha ha. Very funny Uncle Murray but let's not do that again." Then he sees the time. It was 6am. He yells to everyone, "Alright. Time to get up everyone! We still got a long way to go."

"Don't worry about us vampires Dennisovich." Drac said standing next to Mavis and Izza. "We're already awake and ready."

After about an hour of getting ready, everyone was inside the bus and ready to go. Meanwhile, while no one was watching, Kasey was walking towards the black truck where Larry, Ronnie, and Scottie were in. Larry rolls down the window and says to Kasey in an angry tone, "Where were you? We had them right where we wanted them and you never gave us the signal!"

"Oh. I'm so sorry." Kasey said. "I totally forgot. I went gambling with Frankenstein. He really needed help and..."

"You need to not get distracted so easily if you want to get this done!" Larry says pounding the steering wheel. "We didn't drive all the way to Vegas and beyond for nothing. Now get going!"

Kasey runs off and heads for the bus. Dennis sees him and says, "Hey I didn't see you much last night, where'd you go?"

"We went gambling." Frank said. "I tell you. He's a pro at it."

"We won over $30 grand with him helping us." Hank said.

"And some of that money I used to buy several umbrellas and ponchos for your vampire relatives." Kasey said.

"Wow Kasey, that's great." Dennis said. "You don't seem as bad as Winnie described you."

Kasey smiled for a while then it went away. He thinks about what Dennis said to him. Meanwhile Eunice heard the talk and began yelling at Frank and Hank for gambling. Then as Jack begins driving away, he said, "Next stop: the Grand Canyon."

It took a few hours to get there but when they did, they got out immediately and admired the beautiful sight. Kasey gave the vampires all the gear he bought for them. While the kids were watching, Samantha says to all her siblings, "I dare one of you to jump down into that river."

"Are you crazy?" Peter says. "Why should I listen to you?"

"Because I heard Daddy say that he'll let us on stage when we jump." Samantha says.

Her siblings think about this for a moment then Tanner says, "I'm gonna do it!" Then he grabs the balcony and gets ready to jump over it.

Vivien sees him doing this and she quickly runs to Dennis. Dennis was talking with his relatives when Vivien approached him and yelled, "Your son is jumping over that ledge!"

Dennis takes a look and sees him jump, with a shout, "Cannonball!" Immediately, he runs towards the balcony and jumps over it. He begins falling with Tanner. Dennis tries his best to turn into a bat, but it doesn't work, and they both fall into the river. Ericka sees this and she, Mavis, Drac and Kasey jump down to go get them. Drac and Mavis begin burning with the hot sun.

The river was rushing fast and the water was splashing. Dennis searched for his son in the water, knowing that Tanner can't swim. He sees him crying with his hands up and begins swimming towards him. Ericka follows him to help Dennis. They are able to reach him and try swimming to the side. Mavis and Drac come down to try and help them. Ericka and Dennis give the struggling werewolf child to Drac and Mavis and they fly him away from the water. Ericka and Dennis swim to the side of the river with all their strength. Dennis was beginning to drown when Kasey came from behind and began carrying him to the side with help from Ericka.

When they get there, they are out of breath. Then Dennis gets up and hugs his son tightly. Tanner was shaking in fear and because of the cold water. "Don't ever do that again." He says. "I thought I would lose you."

"Will I still go on stage?" Tanner asked.

"What do you mean go on stage?" Dennis asked.

"Samantha told me that I can go on stage with you if I jumped." Tanner said.

Dennis grumbled about what he had heard, but before he did anything else, he saw Kasey and said, "You saved my life. Thank you."

"Ah you know. I saw you needed help, so yeah, I wanted to save a lead singer for a big performance." Kasey said.

"Well, I'm glad I brought you. I'm going to have you on stage when we get to New York and let them all know that a fan saved me." Dennis said patting Kasey's shoulder. When they finish talking, the security found them and led them back to the top where everyone was waiting.
