Sometimes, life is all about rules and bending them. Sometimes even neglecting them. There is no way to say which route is better

So take your hair as your life and your rubberband and hairpins as rules and protocol.

Tying your hair in a ponytail is the safest option, along with hairpins to control the flyaways. You can't go wrong with it, but you can't have fun either.

If you let them down, remove the rubber, there is so much more that you can do. So many options, so many styles. Agreed, they can spiral out of control and make a huge mess too.

But if the hairpins are used ingeniously, you can make any style that you want. Of course there ARE exceptions. You can have a pony AND an amazing hairstyle.

Yet sometimes a ponytail would be better too, for example in athletics. But you can't say the same about parties.

In the end, the important thing is how and when you use it.
