3rd person pov

Ruby: Man, none of these Dust stores have what i'm looking for

The up and coming huntress mumbled to herself, going through the aisles of a store called From Dust To Dawn. Sighing softly the doors opened making her turn to see a tall red headed man in a bowlers hat.

He made his way to the front as Ruby watched from a distance, something about him seeming eerie. The man behind the counter instantly straightened as he shook in fear.

Clerk: M-Mr. Roman, sir. I-I presume you're here for the dust

Roman: Right you are, now please hand it over, i'm a busy man

The clerk nodded, reaching beneath the counter and taking out a suitcase. Taking it from him Roman opened it to see vials of dust before his calm expression dropped slightly and he took a deep breath.

Roman: I thought i was very clear that i wanted Dust crystals, not refined dust

Clerk: I thought i-it'd be fine, there isn't much you can d-do with-

The vampire raised a finger, the store clerk shutting up before Roman took out a dust crystal from his pocket. Jamming it into his right arm both Ruby's and the clerk's eyes widened in shock as to why he'd do that.

Rolling his arm Roman pulled back his arm, quickly thrusting it forward as a bolt of lighting from the dust crystal planted into his arm shot out and struck the clerk making him fall to the floor.

He spasmed, unable to move or speak as his brain had been fried and left him incapable of any higher thought or actions. The vampire snapped his fingers as a group of zombies quickly jumped inside and smashed the windows.

Roman: Grab all the dust you can, we have a kingdom to take down!

Zombie: Sir, there's a human

Pointing to where Ruby was hidden the girl froze, Roman walking over and simply pushing the shelves out the way. Upon getting close the vampire smirked before the girl pulled out her Scythe.

She aimed it at Roman, firing as she launched herself out the shop and landed with a spin. The vampire looked to the bullet in his chest, simply huffing as it was pushed out while the wound healed.

Some zombies rushed at her, Ruby used her semblance to dash past them. She stopped with her scythe blade pressing against one of the zombies before she fired, slicing them in half.

Halting her eyes widened in terror, not thinking that would happen as the girl stared at the zombie which slowly looked up to her as it bared it's fangs. Suddenly someone dropped down, their foot crushing it's skull.

?: Incapacitating them won't do the trick, only sunlight, destroying the brain or Hamon will

She looked to see a tall and fairly well built man, his hand crackled with Hamon which she thought was electricity. Two zombies rushed at him causing him to deploy a shield, stopping one as he jammed his elbow into another.

It began to glow with an orangish light, crying out in pain as it evaporated. Sending Hamon through his shield he destroyed the other vampire and quickly folded up his shield as he struck a pose.

?: Was the pose really necessary, Y/N?

Y/N: What can i say? You taught me how to stand out, Coco

A woman in mostly brown with a beret walked up, holding a hand bag as she glanced up to see an airhsip with the Beacon symbol on the side flying away before she looked around them.

Coco: So, these guys are those zombies you talked about?

Y/N: Yeah, clearing them out's an old family tradition

She shook her head before they heard a clap, looking over as some of the zombies moved out the way Roman slowly clapped. His eyes met the two's as Ruby snapped out her shock.

Roman: I have to say, never have i been this annoyed since i became like this

Coco: And what's he mean by that?

Y/N: I'm as confused as you are

Roman: My time is wasted here. Zombies! Whoever you kill you get to eat!

Zombie: Thank you, Roman, sir!

Zombie 2: I call dibs on the silver eyed girl!

One rushed towards Ruby, Y/N over hearing him which made him look over as he only ever knew two silver eyed people in his life, his mom and his sister. Focusing his breathing he threw out his fist.

Y/N: Zoom Punch!

The bones dislocated, stretching out his reach which allowed him to smash his fist across the Zombie's face, filling it with Hamon, making it fall to the floor while turning to ash.

From behind him a few more jumped at him, Coco's handbag turned into a minigun as she rattled them with bullets and sprayed them down. She managed to blow away their midsections before pressing an alternative button.

A slot opened on her minigun, a grenade shooting out which rolled beside their heads, blowing up and killing the zombies. Ruby looked to see Roman dashing towards Y/N but was too slow to fire.

However the teen turned and threw a Hamon punch, Roman caught it before smirking and showing his fangs. Slowly Y/N felt cold so he looked only to see that his hand was being frozen.

Y/N: D-Damnit! Virtual Insanity!

He stopped using Hamon as his stand appeared behind him, cracking Roman across the jaw as Coco fought off some Zombies, using her handbag to crush their heads into paste.

Roman: You have a stand? Well, it's power doesn't even compare to my own!

The vampire planted his foot in Y/N's chest which sent the teen back. Recalling his stands that allowed his wounds to start healing after he landed although no blood flow was going through his arm.

Shaking his head he looked to Roman as the vampire cracked his neck but was stopped when a bullet shot through his neck. Blood ran out although it began to heal as he turned to see Ruby.

He aimed his hand at Ruby, a bolt of lighting shooting out due to the dust making her shut her eyes tightly. Opening them upon feeling nothing she saw Y/N who was gritting his teeth in pain.

Roman: Playing the hero, are you?

Y/N: Kind of... i-it hurts, but the heat from the lightning was able to unthaw my arm

Raising it he showed his arm which was steaming from the ice that turned to boiling water. The teen clenched his fist, blood running out a wound which was quickly closed up by his aura.

The teen glanced to his side, seeing Coco was pretty much done with the zombies but that brief moment was when Roman moved. Y/N heard his feet moving so he looked to see Roman had gotten to the top of a building.

Going to chase after him Roman pulled out the Dust Crystal and cracked it before throwing it at the teen. As it broke upon impact, the lightning was released causing Y/N to stop as the vampire chuckled.

Roman: I must say, i'm impressed. Although we'll have to cut this short, Y/N, was it? We can pick this up at any time, just make sure you can actually handle yourself

A ring of fire encompassed him as an airship quickly flew by, the flames disappeared as the airship retreated, Roman being nowhere in sight which made Y/N fall to one knee and hold his arm in pain.

Coco: Well... that's not good

Glynda: No, it's not

They all turned to see the teacher marching towards them, Ruby was surprised but was still trying to come to terms with what she witnessed today as Coco and Y/N looked away, knowing they were in trouble.

Glynda: You both lept out of the airship without any regard to your teammates on board which made us land early so i could come and collect you! Do you have anything to say!?

Y/N: ...Silver eyed girl, you're names Ruby, right?

Ruby: H-How do you know that?

Y/N: Hey sis, long time no see

He gave her a slight wave before falling onto his back as he passed out from the pain of being electrocuted. They all rushed over while in the airship Roman rubbed his wrists and looked at Cinder.

She flew the airship for him, gritting her teeth as she did. A smirk appeared on the vampires face as he walked over and stood behind her seat, holding onto the headrest with one hand.

Roman: Time to see what that arrow can do...
