"Oh hi Percy!" The curly blonde inside the cabin spun around, giggling. She had been staring at her reflection in a small pink compact mirror. "You're finally here! I've been going too long without a big strong man to tell me what to do!"

"Annabeth," Percy croaked, "W-what are you doing? What are you wearing?!"

"What?" Annabeth said with a concerned look. "Is it not revealing enough? Do you not find it appealing?"

"What? No! I... I'm not very comfortable with you, uh, sexualizing yourself like this and acting like you're so... helpless! Is this some... some awful prank?" Percy said, his voice cracking horribly.

"Of course not silly! And I'll wear whatever you want me to, even though I know you find this one totally sexy," Annabeth batted her eyelashes. Wow.

"Oh gods," Percy moaned, covering his face with his hands.

I suppose you want to know what Annabeth Chase is wearing, don't you? Well, let's hope you didn't just eat because it might make you throw up. Okay, maybe I'm being a teensy bit dramatic, but it was still very different from what she wore the other day and anything I would ever wear.

She was dressed in a tight, fuzzy, cotton candy pink angora crop top, a bra underneath it that was most definitely not doing its job. Along with that, she wore a black leather mini skirt with black stilettos. To top it off, her hair was straightened and framing her face that was coated with dark makeup. So yeah, definitely very strange. I didn't even know her that well, but it definitely seemed out of character. Percy's reaction said it all too.

To be honest, I had no idea something like this would happen. I just wrote down something about how she becomes stupid and helpless. I guess when The Book doesn't have enough details it takes things into its own glorified hands - er, pages. I couldn't complain though, the results were spectacular. I should definitely keep that in mind though.

I watched as Percy slid off a blue hoodie he was wearing that read AHS Swim Team and tossed it to Annabeth who caught it excitedly. He still had an undershirt underneath it.  "OMG thank you! I'll always feel your embrace protecting me, even when you're not there!" Annabeth said, giddily sliding the sweater on.

"Oh thank the gods," Percy let out a sigh of relief now that everything Annabeth had, uh, showing was covered up with the sweatshirt. "Do you care to explain why in the name of Hades you're dressed and acting like this now?"

"What do you mean, Percy-poo? I've always acted like this. And you love me for it!" Annabeth said, batting her eyelashes.

"That's totally the opposite of true!" Percy screamed, but faltered when he saw Annabeth's crestfallen expression. "I mean, the part about you acting like this. You don't act like this. Of course I love you though, Wise Girl."

"Aww, Wise Girl, where'd you get that name from? It's so silly!" Annabeth giggled.

In that moment I saw all life Percy once held in his eyes shatter, completely disappear, like a feather in the wind. He took a deep breath, turning around to face us, shaky. "I... I'm so sorry. She really never acts like this, I don't know what happened," Percy shook his head.

"Hey, it's fine, man," Armani said, "She seems pretty cool, I can see why you like her." I shot Armani a glare, but he didn't so much as look at me.

"That's the thing, Armani, I don't like her. Not this Annabeth at least. This is not the Annabeth I fell in love with, just a shell of her. A strange little shell..." Percy frowned.

Armani just shrugged in response.

"Um, I think I want to deal with Annabeth, talk to her and all," Percy said, awkwardly looking down at Annabeth who was now cuddling into his embrace. "I'll catch up with you guys later."

"Good luck," Nevaeh smiled. You're going to need it, I thought.

"Thanks, Nev," Percy smiled. Already shortening our first names to "nicknames?" Who did he think he was?

We began to walk away, but I glanced back just long and close enough to see Annabeth roughly kissing Percy and murmuring about how she "needed him." Percy definitely looked heartbroken.

I admit, doubted our plan for Annabeth at first, it's not like Annabeth was going anywhere, Percy would still have her. How would this affect him? I truly didn't think this wouldn't work. But now I see that what Percy said before was right, this wasn't Annabeth, just a shell of her.

Everything was going absolutely perfectly.
