Dae-young and Myung-joo were in the fields of Urk, while others soldiers made a caution zone in the mine field. Dae-young was standing behind the army jeep; probably he was looking at the beautiful view. Or maybe he was thinking deeply about something else. Suddenly, Myung-joo walked in the mine area. While he looked at her, his mind was echoed by her father's words.

"I won't have a sergeant major as a son-in-law. Quit being a soldier and go work for the company owned by her mother's side. Think about this until your overseas discharge is over. You must come back to Korea with a decision." His words spoke in Dae-young's mind.

He stepped down from the jeep's hatchback to the ground. Myung-joo walked past the area towards him.

"You really don't listen to me, do you? I already told you to wait in the safe zone because it's dangerous." Dae-young gently scolded.

Myung-joo rolled her eyes, thinking that he knows it all. She walked past him and sat down behind the truck.

"The safe zone is boring." Myung-joo sighed.

"Move two steps to your left and face forward." She commanded him.

However, he stood silent as if she was a bit crazy.

"You're ignoring my words nowadays. Face forward." She commanded him again.

He took two steps left, now facing towards Myung-joo.

"Take one step forward." She commanded as he stepped towards her.

She took a sunblock from her pocket, gently squeezes it until the cream came out in her hands. She dots it around his face which made Dae-young feel bashful and flustered.

"What--" Dae-young spoke but she kept touching his face.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm not asking for a reconciliation. I'm just touching you." Myung-joo spoke.

He then takes her hand to stop touching his face.

"People are watching." He warned.

"What are you talking about?" She scoffed.

"Do you know that this is harsh treatment?" He asked.

"No. Is it harsh because I'm not a stewardess?" She teased.

Dae-young stood slient; his thumb stroked gently and looked up to her, deeply in her chocolate-colored eyes.

"It's because you're Lieutenant Yoon Myung-joo." Dae-young admitted.

Myung-joo seemed a little bit insecure because she knew that everyone else are looking at them.

"People are watching." Myung-joo urged.

But Dae-young pulled her in closer unexpectedly.

"I can win them all." Dae-young whispered.

Myung-joo knew that he's not joking. Her lips curled into a smirk and closed her eyes. Looks like she's ready for the kiss. They leaned slowly to each other; their lips were ready to close the gap between them. And finally, their lips met each other by a peck. But it took for seconds. Then, their kiss began to build up with passion, by gliding their lips gently, back and forth. He felt her hands placing on his shoulders; he took one of hers and placed on his fluttering heart. While she felt the fluttering pulses of his heart, they slowly broke the kiss apart to let her feel the pounding in his heart. They looked at each other with love and lust at the same time.

Back to UCLA, Han-yeol was in his and Nate's dorm. But he was alone, looking out of the window. But...he really wasn't looking. He was brooding very deeply about something. Was he thinking about his two cousins? Or was he thinking about his hidden love at Ivy? Millions of thoughts or imaginations could swirl around in his head. A flashback came into his mind; he began to remember the first day he came here as a new freshman.

"Everyone, this is my cousin, Kim Han-yeol. He moved here last summer to spend time here." Chi-yun's voice echoed; she introduced him to her friends.

He remembered he was standing next to his cousin in the lounge. Also, he first met her friends. What he'll never forget is that he first met Ivy. He felt his heart fluttered; his eyes were laid on her and his mind went blank. When he and Chi-yun walked away from them for touring around UCLA, he looked back at Ivy in distance. She was looking down and then looked at him. For him, it was like love in first sight. He began to hesitate that would he reveal his hidden love for her. It's been nearly a year since he came to UCLA. Time flies fast than anyone could imagine.

Suddenly, someone knocked the door of the dorm. He turned around to look at the door. He might not know who's knocking, but walked towards the door anyways. He opened it and there was Nate.

"Hey, Nate." He weakly spoke.

"Hey, Han-yeol. Have you seen Taylor?" Nate asked him as he entered the dorm.

Han-yeol shook his head.

"No, I haven't seen her. Besides, I haven't gone anywhere." He spoke.

Nate seemed confused why he didn't came out from the dorm the whole time. Also, he looked at Han-yeol's solemn look, which made him concerned a little.

"Han-yeol, are you okay? You look tired, though." Nate asked.

Han-yeol shook his head that he's not tired.

"No. I'm fine. It's just that...I was thinking deeply while looking out of the window." He spoke.

Nate didn't know that Han-yeol could think that deeper. Besides, he became more curious.

"Thinking about what?" Nate asked him.

"It's personal, though." He answered.

Nate slightly nodded, understanding Han-yeol's personal thoughts that he couldn't expose. However, he had something in his mind he want to tell Han-yeol about it.

"Listen, Han-yeol. I want to tell you something. It's not on me personally, but I have to tell you anyways." Nate spoke.

Nate sighed deeply, feeling ready to reveal his deepest secrets, only to Han-yeol.

"I know you haven't seen her a while but...I want to tell about her." He spoke.

"What is it?" Han-yeol asked.

"I have feelings with Taylor for the whole two years." Nate confessed.

Han-yeol looked shocked, but confused why he didn't confess his feelings at her for the whole two years.

"Does Chi-yun know about this?" Han-yeol asked him.

Nate shook his head.

"No. Never." He admitted.

Han-yeol furrowed his eyebrows with confusion.

"But...what is wrong with you for the past two years, even before I came here?" Han-yeol asked him.

"Two years ago, I met her as we were new freshman. I remember when I had free time, I always go to the library to read some books. Then, I was looking for a book to read. But suddenly, I found that beautiful girl sitting on a table, reading a book. It was definitely Taylor. I can't even forget about the Dutch braid she has that day. I sat next to her and...we talked a little. Although we blushed." He told and Han-yeol giggled a little.

"She's really nice. She's got a good family, too. But the problem we've had was...not having one class together. I have a lot of friends before but..." Nate spoke but deeply sighed again.

"You got to give up on them to fall in love with her, did you?" Han-yeol asked him.

Nate nodded.

"A year ago, I did. It was not easy. Every time I tried to get away from my friends to Taylor, they didn't let me. Now this time while they're away, I felt I'm getting closer to Taylor." Nate spoke.

That made reminded Han-yeol of his secret love for Ivy; he was thinking about this for the whole time. Now he has to reveal his personal thoughts about Ivy, thanks to Nate's story.

"I have feelings with Ivy." Han-yeol admitted.

Nate knew that he still has it, because he remembered seeing him massaging Ivy's shoulders the other day.

"I was thinking about her the whole time, even the day I met her...became love at first sight." Han-yeol told the truth.

"I wasn't really looking out of the window. It's better for me to lose myself in her than just being stuck with 'cool' friends. Although, I don't have 'cool' friends." Han-yeol spoke.

"I've got good friends like you, Taylor, Anna Grace and Ivy. Why? Because we support each other often. Well, I'm more than Ivy's friend already." Han-yeol spoke.

"By massaging her shoulders that day, huh?" Nate teasingly spoke.

Shades of pink crept in his defined cheekbones. Han-yeol smirked and giggled; he didn't get upset, though. Okay, maybe a little bit upset inside, but it doesn't matter to him at all.

"Yeah. But I want my confession more than words that comes out from my mouth." Han-yeol admitted.

"You think I'm more than in love with her by giving her massages?" Han-yeol asked with curiosity.

"You're a very nice guy, Han-yeol. I guess you're a good fit for her. You can make a great team." Nate smiled.

Han-yeol also smiled, but he had something in mind.

"I know Chi-yun is not here with us this time. But if we can imagine that she's with us as six in total, we're more than a team. We are like a family; a family's hope can make the impossible happen. I know that Chi-yun and the medical team will come back safely." Han-yeol admitted.

Nate wrapped his arms around Han-yeol, proud of seeing his gained confidence.

"God bless your faith, Han-yeol. If it weren't your plan to come here in this university, it would be hard to imagine." Nate spoke.

"I know." Han-yeol smiled.

"So...you think you're ready to confess it to Taylor?" He asked Nate.

"Hope I have to chance to find her." Nate hoped as he carefully rushed out from the dorm.

"Go for it, bro! I know you can do it!" Han-yeol encouraged Nate.

But Han-yeol knows he has to do his part, too.

In Urk, Chi-yun was sitting in the middle of the ruins. She was looking at the shining sun about to set in the horizon. At distance, the sun looks like inches away from the horizon but actually, it was miles and miles away. She kept looking but way beyond the sun. When will they return to regularity? Does the adventure in Urk had changed lives forever? Well, all of them.

Chi-hoon walked out from Medicube and found his younger sister sitting against the wall of the ruins. He smiled of having a chance to talk to Chi-yun again. He walked towards her and sat next to her. She looked at him and the siblings smiled together.

"So...does that action-filled adventure we had thrilling?" Chi-yun asked him.

"Ne. You know; I have never had this kind of adventure before. I feel like I'm starting to have my new self." Chi-hoon smiled.

"There's no turning back. Although this is not going to start easy." Chi-hoon spoke.

"It's easy to fall back than climbing up forward. But I know you can do it like I did. From this day on, your old-self might be gone forever. Who knows? No one might recognize you with your new character." Chi-yun spoke.

"There's no way I'll forget when I saw you and Min-jae having a fight. You were brave enough." She spoke.

"I wasn't. After that, I felt distressed. I didn't know what I've done until right after that. But in the action-filled episode in the warehouse, it's completely different." He admitted.

"I got those bastards out of the way in my bare hands. Even when I shoot the rifle to kill them." He spoke and she smiled.

"Anyways, thanks for helping me out to fight those bad guys. I really appreciate it." She thanked him and he smiled.

But that smile he had, began to fade after seconds.

"But yeodongsaeng, I feel like I'm breaking my oath as a doctor. I should be saving all lives, not kill some. I shot one of the bad guys with a rifle. I feel like I'm a murderer." He admitted.

"You're not the only one. I cut another bad guy's chest with my cape. But we're not murderers. We don't kill people without a reason. There are innocent people in this region looking for a better life." She spoke.

"Now, for example, that guy named Argus betrayed Si-jin, because he's a black market gang leader now. He deserves worse than death as a punishment. But I'll steal his life away as punishment anyways." She told.

Chi-hoon nodded. However, he had something else in his mind.

"Chi-yun..." He spoke but wasn't sure that if she's comfortable about it.

"I know it's hard for you to do this, but I'm going to say it anyways." He spoke.

Chi-yun might not expect what he's about to say.

"Do you think you can forgive Min-jae after all of the mess he made?" He asked.

That question made Chi-yun's heart immediately harden. Looks like she's not ready to forgive him.

"No." She spoke.

Chi-hoon knew that she's not easy.

"You seem to hold the grudge." He spoke.

"I'm never ready to forgive him." She shook her head.

"You're never ready, but he'll be ready someday." He spoke.

"I know you're a strong woman. Every time it gets worse, you put yourself into action. You're like my role model. That's who I wanted to be like you." He spoke.

They smiled and hugged together like they're the best siblings forever.

In the army building, Mo-yeon was sitting on the table alone. She was facing up at the roof but closing her eyes. What was she doing? Is she feeling the relieving cool breeze from the ceiling fan? Probably.

Suddenly, Si-jin walked behind her and sat on the table.

"What are you doing?" He asked her.

She opened her eyes and looked at him.

"I'm drying my hair. The wind here is the best." She answered.

"You finally washed your hair." He teased as Mo-yeon gave him a scowl.

Si-jin tilts his head to scowl back at her.

"Are you sure you washed it? Did the water run all right?" He jokingly asked but with a serious face.

"Hey, go to sleep." Mo-yeon shushed him out.

Si-jin just chuckled.

"Isn't the night too good to be wasted?" He asked her.

He leaned a bit towards her but she backed away.

"You want some noodles?" He asked her.

She knew that he changed the subject so she decided to keep going.

"What is this? What is this insincere move?" She asked.

Si-jin backed away a little but smirked at her.

"It's really a sincere invitation." He teased; he took out two bags of noodles in his pants' pockets.

"You got to be kidding me." Mo-yeon thought.

"Sure." She smiled.

Si-jin smiled back at her; he heard footsteps approaching. He turned around and it was Ki-bum. Ki-bum's arm recovered very well about a week.

"Dan-gyeol." He saluted to Si-jin.

"I've prepared boiling water." Ki-bum spoke.

"Two bowls of spicy noodles, please." Si-jin ordered and handed the bags to Ki-bum.

"Yes, sir." He firmly spoke and walked away.

"Mo-yeon, can I ask you something?" Si-jin asked.

Mo-yeon nodded.

"Are you going to support the two kids' tuition for school?" He asked.

"Khalil and Fatima? Why?" Mo-yeon asked.

"Doctors must be well-paid." Si-jin told.

"Lending a hand to another means you have more responsibility to take." Si-jin spoke.

"I told Chi-yun that I'm going to help her to pay for the tuition. But she's like a protector for those two kids. They are so close to her like they're her children. Besides, she's still in the university. She's got two years left to graduate. We just do what we can, when we can do it. Even if we make a mess of it." Mo-yeon told.

Si-jin stood silent as if he heard it before. But he might not remember who.

"Do you remember who said this?" She asked him.

No answer from his mouth.

"I don't read much." Mo-yeon admitted.

"You can't take the responsibility for everyone you meet here. It doesn't change the world." Si-jin spoke.

"We won't be able to change the world. But a change is coming for our lives. And that would mean the world to those two kids. Then that's enough." Mo-yeon spoke.

Si-jin smiled and nodded a little.

"I thought you said you weren't that kind of doctor." Si-jin told.

"I thought you said I was that kind of doctor." Mo-yeon talked back.

His lips curled into a smirk.

"Why are you giving off your charm?" He asked.

"I've already fallen for you." He admitted.

Mo-yeon knew he is but she had to admit something.

"I'm a woman with a lot of debt. With such debt, it's easy to get dumped." Mo-yeon admitted.

Si-jin smiled and giggled; it made Mo-yeon smile.

"Thank you for saving me today." Si-jin thanked her and they smiled together.

They heard Ki-bum approaching them; he carried two bowls of spicy noodles in the bucket.

"Here are your two bowls of spicy noodles. I brought kimichi, too." Ki-bum spoke.

"Ooh. Gamsahabnida, Ki-bum." Mo-yeon smiled.

"Let's eat." She expressed.

Suddenly, the lights flickered and went out in the main hall.

"Occasionally, why does this have to happen at a time like this? Gosh, why? Don't you have a lantern? The noodles will get overcooked." Mo-yeon asked.

"Should we eat like the Special Forces?" Si-jin asked.

Minutes later, Mo-yeon and Si-jin were wearing helmets with night goggles on it. While eating the noodles, she seemed curious about seeing the green-colored, night-visioned goggles.

"This is funny. What is this? I get to do such weird things after meeting a man in Special Forces." She spoke.

"You're a perfect fit for the army. You should stick being with a man in the Special Forces." He spoke.

"What can I do next? Shall we play football?" She asked then chuckled.

"I'm going to boast that I played football when I go back to Korea." She smiled.

Si-jin just slurped a piece of noodle in his mouth.

"Well..." Mo-yeon carried the bowl in the bucket to toast.

"Eat up." She spoke.

Si-jin carried the bowl in the bucket.

"Eat up." He spoke.

They clinked each other's buckets.
