I am inspired from the story of famous character 'Rapunzel' from the Traditional  Fairy Tale and I have just used a pinch of Aladdin tale .Hope you like the twisty story of Rapunzel.

"Mother ,I want to get out,I am sick doing all the things over and over again!"Rapunzel said in exasperation
"Rapunzel dear there are bad people out there and we're too good to be with them"she was told by Gothel(her mother)
After few years,
"Why can't I have anyone to play with ,I feel so lonely and I don't have anything to do apart from the chores.Pleasee mamma just once,let me go out!"
"Flower all i want is for you to be safe
and you are not alone cause I got something for you as a present"
"What is it,mother?"Rapunzel asked in hope and saw her mother creating a puppy with her wand.
"Rapunzel meet your new friend ,You'll not feel alone"
"He can speak?"Rapunzel asked in happiness
"Yes ,my flower .Now promise me one thing you would not leave your mother and go."
Gothel asked
"No mamma,Never;You are the best!" Rapunzel said in happiness but as  time passed Rapunzel's thirst to see the world increased. She can hear people laughing and the Lantern festival played as a catalyst ,various lanterns would be lightened and sent to sky and she would just feel them illuminate her room for just a while which kept her longing for more but she was bound by a promise she gave her mother.
Now her only companion was music and Flynn,her puppy which was now a big furry dog.

Rapunzel's 18th birthday
Rapunzel had turned into a beautiful girl and her very long hair which was about 7 feet now added to her beauty .Few past years had been rough for her given the escape trial intented for a day,resulted in her mother keepimg her locked most of the time.
And here she was on her birthday singing by the window with Flynn beside her listening to her alluring soft voice .
"When tomorrow comes
I'll be on my own
Feeling frightened of
The things that I don't know
When tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes

And though the road is long
I look up to the sky
And in the dark I found, lost hope that I won't fly
And I sing along, I sing along, and I sing along."she sang

"Razel its your birthday today ,Just ask your mother to grant a wish of yours.You can ask her to unlock you for a day.Till when will you endure this punishment "Flynn said sadly .Seeing Rapunzel upset was not the things he liked ,all he ever got was her who had abundant love stored for him and he absolutely adores her.He just wants her to get out of this living hell for once and live the life she has wished in these years. Rapunzel was kind and optimistic and intelligent but her only weakness was her mother.
"What a great idea you have her my sweetest flynn!,let's try it out and see if it works"
"Rapunzel,flower Happy Birthday "Her mother greeted her
"Thank you mamma"Rapunzel replied
"Mamma ,I thought if you could let me roam in the house for a day ,I promise I won't go anywhere leaving this house "She asked hoping her plan works but she saw her mother skeptical about it.
"Please mamma ,Its my birthday"she said
"Okay ,but only for a day."

"I am so relieved now flynn ,atleast I am free in this house .What about a game of hide and seek?"Rapunzel asked in a singsong voice
"Only if you'll play it fair"Flynn sang along
"Okay today I'll hide first and I bet you won't find me"Rapunzel said
She went to every corner of the house in search of a hiding place but to her surprise she found a door unlocked which was always kept locked at it held her mother's anitique collection.No one was allowed to go in ,not even her.Out of curiousity she went in and found various items stacked neatly in a shelf and she started exploring it until she found an oil lamp in the corner of the room.
She took it admiring the beautiful enamelled work on it until Flynn found her
"I think you were supposed to hide and what is this place,I haven't see it before"He said
"Shhhh ,mother might hear us"rapunzel replied in a hushed voice and to their surprise they heard a faint sound of footsteps coming towards them.
"What do i do ,what do i do"Rapunzel started murmuring nervously and unconsciously rubbed her hand on the lamp and a huge blue person appeared out of nowhere
"Hello ,I am Genie .How may I help you?"
he asked
"Please get us to my room such that mother can't see us" Rapunzel replied in a hurry sensing anytime arrival of her mother.
"As you say Milady"Genie replied and true to his words ,they went invisible and genie led the way to the room.Her mother came with her chameleon pet to lock that door and did not see them.
--Room--
"Ohh Thank God!, We're safe"Rapunzel replied taking a breathe of relief and then turned to see that the genie was disappearing going back to the lamp
"Flynn!!! Where did it go?"Rapunzel asked
"I think it went inside that thing and you must hold it to call him"He answered
"yes you are right ,even I saw it going inside"
She held the lamp on her hand and started with a deep voice
"I order Genie to be  present infront of me" but no one appeared, then something struck her .When they were in room she did not call him then why did he appear on his own and analysed the things very clearly and started rubbing it to see if it worked and she succeeded in doing so.He appeared in front of them and was going to repeat the same line when she asked
"Why are you trapped inside and why did you help us?"
"I am trapped as a punishment to my sins and about helping you ,whoever holds the lamp becomes my lord and I ,his/her slave.I can grant you three wishes and what I can't do is
I can't make someone fall in love with you
I can't kill anyone
and I can't  bring people back from the death . Actually I can do that but it is so horrifying that I choose on not doing so."He completed
"If you complete my second wish of letting me out of this house to see the outer world and especially the Lantern festival which is today and creating a duplicate version of  me and flynn so that I don't break mother's promise , I will use my third wish to free you .Its my freedom against yours besides you seem to have evolved into a better person and every person deserve their freedom unless he's cruel."Rapunzel replied.
"As you say Milady"He replied and he created the duplicate versions of Rapunzel and Flynn and the next minute there was a huge red carpet thing in front of them .They sat on it and flew away.
They arrived to the kingdom of Illea  which celebrated the festival as a start of the year . As soon as they landed ,Genie disappeared but with a warning that magic will last only till midnight.
Rapunzel replied its enough and had this different energy inside her . She just wanted to explore every bit of her freedom.
She thought to wander and meet new people but first what she felt was a feeling  of hunger and she saw a place where people were eating and thought to have something for her and flynn too.
"Flynn lets check out that place"Rapunzel said and both went there and ordered something for them and after having it they were leaving when the restaurant owner asked for money in exchange of what they ate. Rapunzel was in delimma as she did not have money to pay him and said
"Sorry sir ,I don't have money!" she said
"What you mean you don't have money,I want it and you are not leaving this place
until I get it"He said shoving her in anger and she fell but a person helped her out by pulling her up and she was looking at his striking features and was in awe of him
"Hey miss ,You all right?" He asked moving his fingers to bring her back from her la la land
"Yes I am ,Thank you"She replied with a smile
"Hello ,my money?" the owner asked and rapunzel happen to look at the singer singing so dull and the people were bored of it.
"I can sing very well maybe it will help you bring new customers" she replied
"Okay but if they don't like it ,you will have to pay " He said
"Voila!" Rapunzel shrieked in happiness and went to the stage and started singing her songs replacing the previous singer

The people there liked her songs but still there was no effect on the increase in number of customers.Soon, someone joined her with the guitar in his hands and played the chords in sync of her voice.Rapunzel was suprised to see the person who had helped her was again helping her without any knowledge of who she was!
They started their medley of songs and both of them were enjoying it ,a clap was heard in the end and even some more people came in to enjoy the food with some fantastic music.Rapunzel felt happy not only on seeing an increase in number of customers but also on finding that people were good and her mother was mistaken about this world.
"Hello ,I am Jack and might I add your voice is beautiful .I mean even your hair,I mean is ...That You are beautiful"He said to which rapunzel laughed sensing his nervousness
"I am Rapunzel and it was so kind of you to help me through and I may ask your leave as I am planning to see the festival "
"Uhh I can take you there!"He replied instantly and she nodded and started their short journey with Flynn.They watched the lanterns going up from a hill   and Jack was finding his feelings growing for Rapunzel but little did he know the feelings were mutual .Rapunzel's mind came to a pause when he kissed her on an impulse.She was shocked but soon it turned magical and she gave in.
"Rapunzel,I like you!" He said caressing her cheek
"Jack,I....."Rapunzel was about to say but her mind took her back to her mother and about what genie said the magic would disappear after midnight.She started panicking and ran from there to reach her house but she was shocked on finding her mother standing at the door waiting for her but what was horrifying was her angry features
Gothel pushed Rapunzel inside the house and said
"You stupid girl!Did you really think I will not find out who's real and who's duplicate.You have crossed all the limits today!"Her mother exclaimed
"Mother,I am sorry and you know what the world outside of this house is so better .People are caring and kind ,they are not bad mamma you are mistaken and even I met someone who loves me "She said in happiness
"What ! You'll leave me?"gothel asked and grabbed her hair in a fist and continued in anger
"I should've killed you the moment your mother ate the magical lettuce from my garden ,I kept you to punish your parents and raised you as my own as you had healing powers in your hair and you had be surprised to know how I have been using you to heal my body and make it as beautiful as you.I  wouldn't  want someone to take away my magic ,you ill- mannered brat I have  strived to be the bellwether of magic and beauty and now you think you can flee from my world than you are wrong ."gothel completed and pushed rapunzel on floor when Rapunzel cried on her harsh fate of life but she did not give up and decided to punish her fake mother for the misery she put in her life.
"That's where you're wromg mamma ,there is someone who is more powerful than you "
"What are you talking about?"
Rapunzel took the lamp out and held it before her and said you must have thrown this lamp on finding it of no use but you don't know that what's inside is more powerful than you in magic.You need to rub the lamp to call it
Gothel grabbed the lamp from Rapunzel's hand and called the genie out
"Hello I am Genie and I can fulfill your three wishes"Genie said
Gothel turned greedy and asked him to make her as powerful as him leading her to get trapped inside the lamp forever to  become someone's slave in future and this way she set the Genie free and also got her freedom back but Flynn disappeared with the magic world of Gothel trapped inside the lamp
"I am happy for you Genie "Rapunzel said but still she was sad
"Why are you sad"Genie asked
"I lost everyone dear to me.Flynn,Jack and now even you will start your new life"
"What's your wish Mi-Lady? . Remember your third wish, it's still left!" Genie said to which Rapunzel saw him in confusion
"You can play magic outside the lamp too?" she asked
"Yes ,but my power is more amplified when I am in lamp.Say it already ! You are making me impatient."
"Please take me where Jack is" she said
"As you say ,here we go!" Genie replied and took her to the place Jack and saw their happy reunion standing afar disappearing to explore the world and find someone for him too
                        And you know next
All Lived Happily Ever After!
