Aahir's POV:

'Sister...Please make sure you keep a close eye on his oxygen levels' I instructed while washing my hands. I had finished my rounds and clock was ticking 10 am. I decided to finally grab some breakfast. The satisfaction to have a good breakfast after a really good morning where you finally see your patient making it and the smiling faces of their family members is priceless. It reminds me why I am in this profession. We doctors have the ability to help in god's work. We can save lives and today exactly that's what I did. I saved life of a 12 year old boy.

Just when I was about to sit down and eat my sandwich I had Malu aunty barge into my cabin...

'Where the hell do you dump your phone little one??? How do people reach you if they want to??? And then that mother of yours calls me up from Delhi from a conference just to make me cancel my important meeting with a famous tv producer just because her little baby boo has switched off his phone...' she asks and I slap my head realising I forgot to my phone at home again. My mumma is gonna choke slam me once she's back from Delhi!!! I gulped.

'Sorry Malu aunty...I just came back from my rounds...' I tried pouting but she smiled saying...'Its ok...for all that you have done to me, the least I could do for you!!!' she says handing over my phone and I narrow my eyebrows. She hugs me quickly saying...'You have someone on the line too excited...here... talk' saying she pulls out a chair and sits right infront of me. I am confused but I take the phone and mutter a 'Hello' to which I hear a gushing wind and a loud...

'Haanjiiii...all good???' and my lips curve up saying 'Heyyyy...Yup...He is safe now...Thank you Neiyat' while I see Malu aunty's sharp eyes on me and next second she is wiggling. I roll my eyes standing near the window while the lady on the phone too excited shocks me with the next question that literally pops out my eyeballs
..'Did you kissssss???' she screams loudly

'What kiss????' I speak up abruptly and here I see Malu aunty jumping on the chair asking 'Kiss??? What kiss???' while I open my mouth trying to calm her down this one on the call excitedly shouts

'Areyyyyy kisssss...chummmiiiiii... Did you take his chummi' she says and my eyes grow wider...

'You are asking me to kiss and that too some 'him'...Neiyat sexuality is every person's choice and right but my priorities are straight...I want to marry a 'her' and not a 'him'...I hope I'm clear!' I say and she says...

'Ofcourse Dr. Silly Sehgal...I'm asking about Sunny... remember I asked you to kiss him from my side...did you do that?' she says while I hear smashing something...

'Are you kicking someone???' I ask while she chuckles saying...

'No yaaar...we are on the beach... playing volleyball...and guess what your wedding planner is winning!!!' she says and I have an instant smile on my face and I ask her ..

'So finally someone is good to find me a bride...' to which she says...

'Obviously...you seem to be a little boring, slightly hot headed but you are a good man...and maybe I don't like your other qualities but one thing for sure is that you take your job pretty seriously. Just like me...and don't give up on commitments... That's exactly how Neiyat Kapoor is...I don't back off!!! And I've had a deal with your mumma...Neiyat always fulfills her commitments...

Shaadi to maine hi karwani he (I am definitely getting you married)' she says and I have a wide smile while I see Malu aunty giving me these wierd looks and I narrow my eyebrows.

After a quick bye, I disconnect the call huffing and giving Malu aunty an extra sweet smile to which she says...

'Well...you know what Aahir...I am writing a story where a doctor is in search of his bride and his mother finds a wedding planner for her...But you know what eventually the boy falls for the wedding planner!!!' she says it with a smirk and I close my eyes asking...

'What are you trying to imply here aunty' to which she picks a piece of sandwich from my plate and takes a bite saying...

'Boring...it's so dull...hmmmm what do you do to make this sandwich tangy?' she asks and I narrow my eyebrows saying...

'Hmmm...I don't know... maybe add some tomato sauce!!!' to which she smirks saying...'Exactly Dr Aahir Sehgal...you are this boring sandwich...and Neiyat is that tomato sauce in your life who will make it all fun!!!' and I give her 'you are impossible looks!!!'

No wonder she's my mom's bestie!!!

'Well I like my sandwich healthy aunty... and your Neiyat maybe tangy but is unhealthy for me!!! She nowhere meets Aahir's taste...' to which she narrows her eyebrows saying...

'The reason why you thought my daughters aren't good enough for you huhh??? They have it all in them!!!' and I look elsewhere saying...

'No aunty...it's not like that...they are my childhood buddies... family friends and relationships make bonds more complex... and I want to keep it simple!!!' to which she pushes back her chair asking...

'You mean you are not going to think about yourself and Neiyat???' she asks it openly and I freak out saying...

'Ofcourse Not... she's never my kind...I would like someone sweet, kind, pretty, humble, homely...ummm independent...ohhh it's a long list!!!' she says and Malu aunty chuckles saying.

'Son!!! You just described Neiyat Neiv Kapoor!!!' she says and my eyes grow wide but then I look elsewhere...

'Wellll....I just came here to give you your phone... Rest you know things best...hmmmm by the way....
When you both were babies...Aaru and Chah desperately wanted you both to hook up in future...but then who knew their kids would be Destinies Apart!!!' and I shoot her a look saying she leaves my cabin.

I sit thinking
'Neiyat and me??? No no...stop it Aahir...Malu aunty thinks my life is also a tv serial... she can't make it a tv serial...no ways!!!'

While suddenly I get a video call from Aaryan and a smile appears on my face...
'So.... how's Goa...' I ask while I see a shirtless Aaryan on the beach and winks at me turning around his phone showing a couple of girls roaming around in bikini and then turns the camera back to his face saying...

'Hotttttttr bro!!! I mean Australia was hot but India is no less!!! It's piping hottttt...looks like your brother is gonna make some Indian girlfriends' saying he winks his eyes while suddenly the screen is shut with black something and I hear a loud...

'Aaahirjiiiiiii' and I feel my ears bleeding...I see Luv-Shika standing infront of me...one in a bikini and other in jeans and ganji asking me...

'Aahirjiiii...why did you go home...it is sooooo boring without youuuu' and I roll my eyes saying 'And it's soooo peaceful!!!' to which they say 'O come on Aahirjiii...say you miss ussss!!!' and I cringe while I badly wanna say..'I would rather be with two monkeys!!!' but then I try to keep a poker face.

Just then a ball comes and hits Aaryan's head and he screams...
'Youuuu Neiyat ki bacchi...wait there...I'm not going to leave youuu' and Aaryan quickly runs out of the frame and I suddenly realise they are together.

Seems like Neiyat really likes Aaryan's company a little too much.

Shika and Luv keep talking and my entire concentration is still on the fact that I'm trying to listen to the low sounds of Neiyat fighting with Aaryan and giggling hitting my ears. I don't know why I have this strong urge to see what they are doing. I don't know why am I so curious. I don't even know her.

Stop it Aahir!!! You don't care!!!
I convince myself and before I want to disconnect the call I see Aaryan back in frame trying to pull a arm and in one go I see Neiyat in front of me....

She stands there infront of me...with a high bun and a yellow monokini and I am spellbound. Words don't leave my mouth as I see her skin slightly tanned under the sun, radiating a golden glow and my mind again recalls the name...

But next minute I curse my stupid brains!!! Aaryan keeps holding her in a side hug and keeps blabbering some shit while I don't know why him holding onto Neiyat like that wasn't so comfortable to my eyes!!!

I didn't know why!!!
Just when Aaryan was about to drop the call Neiyat quips...
'Hey Dr.Aahir...I have sent you a couple of portfolios...I personally chose them. Try to go through them ..I'm going to organise a meet-greet this weekend for you with them...one is a doctor, other is an actress while the last one is a dancer... interesting personalities... and haan keep yourself free this weekend...we are all going to Kabini this weekend for your grand date!!!' and I'm confused...
I really wanted to ask her more but Aaryan's grip on her neck choking her saying...

'Neiiiiiii....you can work later babe...let's gooooooooo' and before I could stop them...she and my brother jump out of the frame leaving me to the twins who continue annoying me but my mind strangely revolves around Aaryan and Neiyat's comfort zone.

They seem to be too close!!!
