"Hey, Mom?" Emmelia asked as the got into the village.

"Yeah?"

"I don't think you're telling the truth about that bounty hunter."

Cara blinked.

"Let's not talk about that right now. Let's just go get ice cream."

Later, when they were on the ship, Cara looked around. They were in hyperspace and she was taking the chance to walk around-not that there was much room.

Not like on the Razor Crest.

Then she remembered the planet she was going to.

I'm not going because I miss him. I am NOT going to Sorgan because I miss Din.

Why not?

Emmelia was napping, so Cara didn't want to wake her up. But when they touched down on the planet's green surface, she woke up on her own.

Din had followed the only ship that was taking off to Sorgan.

Why is she here?

"Dad, why are we here?" Aidan asked.

"I'm looking for an old friend," Din replied. 

"That's what you say anytime I ask why we're anywhere," Aidan reminded him.

"Right, sorry."

Din and Aidan were staying in the village where Din and Cara had fought off the raiders.

"Dad, tell me about Mom again," Aidan begged.

Din sighed. "Maybe we'll have a different bedtime story tonight."

"No," Aidan insisted. "I want to hear about Mom."

"Okay," Din gave up. "What do you want to hear about?"

Aidan thought for a minute. "Tell me about the time you guys saved Grogu."

"Okay. Well..."
