what are you searching, mom? - Manasa asked anika when she turns the house upside down by searching for something where rithik seems to be uninterested on anything. he simply sitting in the couch and changing the channels of television continuously. 

id card! don't know where i left!... rithik search it cupboard.  - anika ordered ritik, where he raised the volume and made her more irritated.

i am asking you something rithik can't you hear it...  - anika asked him in a stern tone.

have you said something when your professor scolds me... you didn't shed the word, i am the only one who was speaking in that place... i shouldn't kiss my naani... technically, i am having more rights on you than him... - rithik spoke where anika heard his every word without even blinking his eyes. everybody in the house was stunned to hear his speech.

now... i remember i left my id card under my desk... -anika said to Radhika by ignoring his speech. everyone chuckled.

you have changed naani... completely changed... because of that blue-eyed professor... - ritik said where anika sat beside him, pulled him and hugged him tightly.

who said i am changed? i am still like before... forget you're my first grandson...- anika asked him where he made faces and didn't hug her back.

you are exactly looking like your naanaji when you're angry... - anika added fuel in the burning fire where everyone expects ritik burst to laughter.

maa... don't lie other than this eyes he got nothing from my handsome father... - Manasa chuckled. anika controlled her laugher and looked at him.

everyone become mad... here, i hate you everyone... including you naani... i never expected this from you... - he said, stood up, walked towards the hanger, took his jacket and went.

hey... hello don't leave this house for small issues... - anika shouted.

who said i am leaving the house? i am going to college to bring back your id card... what if others took it and troubled my 19 years old naani... i am leaving... - rithik said and took his bike keys.

see... he exactly resembling his nanaji... same care towards me... - anika said where he left the place, not before glaring anika.

when he opened the door he dropped the keys in shock on seeing the vision before his. he rooted at the same place where anika casually walked towards him.

"what happened? met your naanaji?" - anika asked while walking towards the door who herself went to shock when she saw shivaay on the doorstep. as usually, she becomes dumb after seeing him in that place.

"ah" - rithik replied in shock, after that he mentally slapped himself and cleared the throat immediately.

"Sir, you... in my house" - he transformed the question. witnessing anika's shocking reaction and rithik stammer, Manasa and Radhika came towards the doorstep who was shocked indeed seeing him in the doorstep.

"hello" - he greeted them awkwardly. Manasa immediately came out from the shock and asked him to come inside where Radhika mischievously smiled at anika and pitched her. she came to reality.

"no thanks ma'am... i just came here to give anika's id card... found it in her bench..." - shivaay said and gave it anika where she still rooted at the same place and didn't even take her eyes off from his blue-grey orbs. she took it from his hand where their hands slightly brushed. her breath got choked because of his touch.

"how can you resist my offer? come inside...have coffee and go..." - Manasa insisted and forcefully held his hands and made her way towards the drawing room crossing stunned anika at the same place.

"Nani... i think daughter cum mother-in-law is in full form" - Radhika chuckled in anika's ear while pointing her finger towards Manasa's impatientness and she got no expression from anika. 

"how can he come to our home?" - anika shockingly asked Radhika.

"it happens dear... when you're in love" - Radhika said while getting excited on seeing her naanaji at their place.

Manasa gave him coffee with a full five-star treatment after all her dad came to her place for the first time. where on the other side, shivaay becomes very happy about seeing her excitement.

"come on, mom... relax... i know you're excited but don't show it abruptly" - ritik whispered in her ears. then she calmed herself. 

"hi... i am anika's father" - Arjun made an entry and introduced himself to shivaay where he immediately stood up and shook his hands with him. Arjun eyes moved towards the food plate which was filled in the tea-table. he nodded disbelief to Manasa where she bitted her tongue.

"how is my daughter in class?" - Manasa asked him in excitement forgetting it her first day in college. anika's eyes widened with her question where Arjun hit his head in embarrassment.

"it was her first day..." - shivaay awkwardly replied to her where Radhika closed her eyes in embarrassment. 

"and you should be more careful anika... who leave their id card carelessly in the bench... be responsible you reached 19 right..." - shivaay scold her where it reached like music in her ears.

"19 or 20" - shivaay asked her.

"75" - Arjun spoke in-between them where shivaay spilled the coffee and shockingly looked at him.

"yeah, 75 dresses ... i totally forgot... wait i will tailor uncle and inform him" - Radhika covered it up and acted like calling the tailor and informed him where everyone except anika glared at him. where everyone took a deep breath when shivaay believed her lie.

"i am sorry" - Arjun whispered, Manasa gestured like slapping him. by then calling bell rang again. anika excused herself and open the door. 

"hi...Is shivaay there inside?" - 50 years old man asked her.

"Yeah, but who are you?" - anika asked him. 

"i am his father..." - he said where the land under her feet got slipped. she was about to fall after hearing him but she composed herself.

"come in sir" - anika invited him inside. he came inside where Arjun stood up from his place in surprise on seeing him. 

"Shakti" - Arjun whispered in surprise.

"Arjun" - Shakti called him out in surprise.

they both come towards each other and hugged. where shivaay and others fell in on the river of shock at the same time. 

"hi... how are you, man?" - they both exclaimed where everyone got confused.

after that, Arjun moved towards anika and said, "maa, this is my childhood friend shakti... remember i once told you about him"

"ah... shakti... i remember who helped you in your science project... how are you be-anika stopped after hearing the group cough of Manasa, ritik, and Radhika. anika recognized what she was about to do. 

"maa?" - shakti suspiciously asked arjun.

"Hmm... she... she's my youngest daughter... so i fondly called her like this..." - Arjun managed and got glare from everywhere. 

"how sweet?" - tej adored where he introduced shivaay to them as his son. Radhika gestured anika to take blessings from him. anika gestured like slapping him. 

"ok Arjun... we recently shifted to Chennai and i am inviting you for the house warming party tomorrow, come with your family" - shakti invited him where Arjun accepted the invitation without even looking at his family.

"ok we are leaving... be there on time" - Shakti said and left the place with shivaay where shivaay turned back to anika, said: "be responsible..."  and left with a slight smile in his face. after they left, Manasa hit Arjun's head for the mess. 

"dad... you should have straightly fixed naani's marriage date..." - Radhika chuckled but anika didn't respond to anything and she was still thinking about him and his words are banging inside her ears.
