the sun raised and showed his face to the people of Chennai. upto Manasa and Arjun's surprise, Radhika came to the kitchen and started to prepare coffee while depressing herself in deep thought.

"i think sun raised in the west" - Manasa passed comment on seeing her daughter in the kitchen that too early in the morning. but those words didn't reach her ears. Manasa noticed something depressing her so she kept her hand on her shoulder, she jerked in shock.

"what happened, baby? where you lost?" - Manasa asked her. 

"nothing, mom... just had a bad nightmare..." - Radhika replied casually. 

"ok, don't worry... want coffee? i will make it for you, you go to the hall" - Manasa said to her and felt very concerned for her daughter.

"no, mom... I'm making coffee for naani... she woke up and having a sivere headache" - she said and filled the coffee in a cup and moved upstairs. by then anika moved out of her room and reached the drawing room. 

"anni... i was about to come up... why you came here? go and take rest?" - Radhika said with concern where anika caressed her cheeks and sat on the couch.

"anni... coffee..." - Radhika gave the coffee to her. she took it from her hands with a smile. where Radhika smiled and sat beside her in a hugging position.

"anni... where are you?" - rithik yelled from the room in a frightened tone.

"in drawing room... come down" - anika yelled while having the coffee. he rushed downstairs and relieved to see her in the hall.

"now, what happened to you?" - Manasa asked him. where he composed himself and said: "nothing maa, had a very bad nightmare".

"strange, both of my children had a nightmare" - Manasa said suspiciously.

"because we watched conjuring yesterday night" - anika said to Manasa.

"that's it" - Arjun asked anika suspiciously, anika nodded while sipping the coffee.

"ok guys, get ready... forget we have to go to housewarming party... today" - anika announced leaving Arjun and Manasa confused again. they looked at each other confusingly. but anika left without even answering them.

"what happened to maa? she's behaving wierdly" - Manasa asked rithik and Radhika.

"we convinced her! so we are going right" - Radhika asked Manasa. they all nodded but Manasa was very much worried about anika's behavior.

the time reached 5 pm in the evening where Manasa knocked on the door of anika's room. after getting her permission she entered the room. 

"maa..." - she called anika who was busy in arranging stuff. 

"yes... come in" - anika greeted her with a smile.

"why are doing this? you should have called me, right?" - Manasa forcefully took the things from her hand and kept it in the cupboard.

"uff, Mrs. Manasa Arjun is helping her mom to arrange her stuff... it won't happen normally... come on, stop oiling my hair and tell me what you want?" - anika got the point and asked her where Manasa chuckled at the spot.

"nothing! just came here to give this to you" - Manasa gave anika a polythene bag wrapped box.

"what's this?" - anika asked her.

"for you... open it and see" - Manasa said to her. she opened it and shocked to see the long sparkling blue gown inside the box.

"this is what you're going to wear this tonight" - Manasa added.

"are you mad? you're making a 75 years old woman to wear this..." - anika said in a high pitch.

"for your kind information, this is not gown this is maxi... and you're going to wear this tonight..." - Manasa said in a stern tone.

"ordering your mom?" - anika asked her in the same tone.

"ahan... " - Manasa said and made her stand opposite to the dressing mirror.

"You forget something mom... you lost your mother post one week before... now i am your mom and you should obey me... and i think i will be the first daughter to witness her parents wedding and also do rituals in her parent's place... you don't have any idea mom... how i am feeling? i am feeling so blessed..." - Manasa said in an emotional tone and wiped her tears.

"ok, i will wear this. so stop crying and get ready... we are running out of time" - anika said while pinching her cheek.

"wait i will make you ready first" - Manasa said. 

"you guys will don't mind right, if i come here and help you guys" - Radhika asked from the doorstep. anika waved her hand with a smile.

"i will do hair and makeup" - Radhika said and did her hair and makeup.

"Radhika, bring that diamond set from the cupboard" - Manasa said to Radhika.

"i don't need that... i bought it for Radhika..." - anika shouted. where Manasa acted like she didn't hear anything.

"here it is..." - Radhika gave it to Manasa. she made her wear that and anika looks so cute in that attire.

"maa... you're looking so cute" - Manasa said and kissed her cheeks.

"she's lying anni... you're looking so sexy in this attire" - Radhika said where anika smacked their heads and asked them to go out and get ready. they went where anika stood herself before the mirror and thinking about something tears escaped from her eyes. she quickly wiped it before anyone could notice her.

all the five reached their house in Chennai. anika stepped out where Radhika gave her company by wearing a maxi so that anika shouldn't feel any loneliness. anika took a deep breath and stepped inside where upto her surprise every member of the oberoi family came to the doorstep to greet them. anika and her family greeted them back with a wide smile where anika tried a lot to smile but she can't make it.

"you're feeling well, dear" - Shakthi's wife pinky asked her.

"no, nothing... just a headache due to traffic... i will be fine" - anika gave an excuse.

"you're looking so pretty in this outfit, dear" - Shakti said where shivaay's eyes fixed on her beauty. he came out of his la la land when omru pinched his arms. anika acted like she didn't notice anything. she can't even able to stand there. Radhika noticed that and intertwined her hand with her, nodded everything will go fine.

"i am Omkara... shivaay's brother" - om forwarded his hands to anika, she passed a smile and shook her hands with him.

"i am rudy... i mean rudru... his younger brother" - rudy introduced himself where anika was forced to give a smile to shivaay as he was standing next to him. knowing shivaay uncomfortable situation, Radhika took a stand.

"hi... rudy... hi om" - Radhika said and excused themselves, moved inside.

"aren't mom behaving so weird?" - Manasa asked rithik.

"it may be because of her headache" - rithik said and moved towards them.

"if you're not feeling comfortable, we will go back" - rithik asked them.

"let me finish the purpose of coming here rithik" -anika said and masked a fake smile in her face.
