Ragini's POV:

'You look beautiful my child' Nat said finally perming the last portion of my hair and finally removed all the clips letting my slightly permed hair flowing down upon my chest...

I looked at myself in the mirror...It was a beautiful dark blue gown...Blue brings a lot of memories alive...some which were buried deep down in my heart...

Blue was Siddhesh's favorite color too...
I remember I wore blue last time was on that night...The night that changed my life...The night which made me realise how right the world was when it judged him!!! Although they judged him for his looks and I liked him either way around...His looks never mattered for me at all...but that night I learnt how ugly he was!!! The night I wanted to confess it to him!!! We had kissed that night too...we danced and lost in each other's arms...and then he broke my heart !!!

'Ragini my child...look at this rare blue diamond necklace...this goes perfectly with your dress...let me try to make you wear it' saying she removed the necklace from the box and I stopped her...

'No Nat... sometimes the most beautiful things don't look good upon someone...'

She looked puzzled and I smiled saying...
'I like to keep it simple...I don't want to try the unusual...' and she smiled...
Only I knew the deeper meaning of these words...

Siddhesh was that complicated piece of my life which I'm glad I discarded...I'm happy with a usual someone... Rohit is not anyone special..he is a simple guy with decent aspirations...who looks decently handsome, not as rich as Siddhesh but is a smart and intelligent man, above all respects me! We never touched each other and although he wanted it he never crossed his limits. According to my bestie Arsha Siddhesh was a diamond I lost...only I know what a pebble he was...And if he was a real diamond...then I'm happy with my artificial stone!!!

I don't know why was I drifting down the memory lane today...just a goddamn blue dress pushed me down the memory lane...the lane which was locked forever...but Siddhesh's re-entry in my life is causing a havoc in me!!! But I hate him and I love to torture him! It gives me internal peace!
If that makes me cruel then be it!!!
I'm a cruel bloodsucker!!!

Slowly lifting up my gown i began walking down the huge staircase of Pai Mansion only to see a man wearing a tuxedo matching my dress...I took a second look and my throat dried the minute I realised it was Siddhesh!!!
He was standing there completely lost while his eyes met mine...my eyes roamed around him...he was wearing a tuxedo for the first time ever in life it wasn't a size bigger. It was his perfect fit and I swallowed audibly realising he had an attractive body. No wonder he still practices yoga.

I saw a tint of shine and desire in his eyes... that smug look...my heart still runs a marathon when he looks at me like that...He look different today. He had combed his oiled up hair backwards which looked perfect today... he had a thick moustache but he also had a light stubble which complimented him well and those black framed glasses...He was looking handsome!

But the next minute I realised looks don't define a man! His soul is ugly I broke the gaze...
'Dont forget Ragini...He broke you once...you are here for your Rohit...this man is a finished chapter!!! You are over him Ragini...you are over him!!!'

Yes I'm over him!

Closing my eyes I swallowed this and walked down the party thinking...
'Time for some showdown...' and my devil fangs were out.

He took a step towards me and offered me his hand and although I wanted to push it away ..I chose to do the other way around...

'Lets start the game again!!!' I smirked mentally.

He introduced me to a lady and a man who looked in their late 60's...

'Mr and Mrs Langley ..this is my fiance Ragini ...Ragini...they are our neighbours and Mr Langley is also the mayor of the town'

'Hello young lady...you look beautiful... Siddhesh our boy is one lucky man must say' he said but his wife added ...
'I agree darling...but Ragini here is lucky too...not everyone finds a rare diamond like our Sid...' she patted his shoulder...

I sweety smiled and said at once...
'I hate diamonds Mrs Langley...I prefer gold better' saying I whispered in Siddhesh's ears ..
'And my Rohit is pure gold...unlike you...Mr artificial stone!!! Lol they think you are a diamond huhhh' and I could see the smile on his face faded...

Satisfaction to my soul!!!

'Annnd Mr and Mrs Langley... I'm not his fiance...I'm his wife... legally wedded one...you know he is such a kind man that he agreed to marry a girl by just blackmailing her father for his property...such a diamond he is na' and next minute I saw Mr and Mrs Langley shooting a look to Siddhesh... whose face colors wore off and he quickly said...
'Ummmm Excuse me Mr and Mrs Langley...I...I just ....I will be back'

Huhh!!! This was just the beginning!!!

He left from there...while i saw the old couple walking away I softly said...
'Sir .. Mam...I didn't mean to break your heart with his true shades...you may like him a lot but he isn't what he looks like...you don't know him...I know' I said while the old man chuckled saying...

'We know him Mrs Pai...it's just that you may not know him...I don't know why he forced you in this marriage with him...but the man who simply donates 40 percent of his income in the welfare of old and needy without a word coming out in open...who supports single mother's by offering them jobs and conducting special walk-in drives for them...his publication house is the only one of a kind which has an entire daily newspaper run by women only...I somehow still cannot digest the fact that he played around to marry you... specially when everyone here in the party knows he loved only one girl who was his childhood sweetheart and had to let her go for something big.'

And the last line hit me hard!!! My eyes widened in shock.

'Ohhh you probably don't know...he is a broken heart young lady...but he still worships that girl with whom he couldn't end up with...at times not all love stories meet their ultimate peak right?' he said and I felt hot tears lingering in my eyes...

I hated him more now!!!
He had maintained image of a saint here but only I knew what a fraud he is!!!

It was dinner time and Ryan raised a toast for me and Siddhesh who sat next to each other. I wanted to teach him a lesson. Food was been served. There were various items in the menu...there was Indian, Chinese, Italian, Mexican cuisine.

I knew what to do!!!
I lifted my one leg up such that my foot resided on the chair and my elbow on my high rised knee...like I was an uncultured woman I was desperate to make a scene here...I did everything that wasn't table manners...I took a glass full of wine put a straw in it and made a

'Slurrrrrrrrrrrrrrr' sound

Such that I gained everyone's attention on me!!!
I could see faces which looked shocked and surprised...

The man next to me had horror written on his face!!! And....I continued...

I quickly put some sphagetti on my plate and added some fish tikka gravy, some dal... curd and on it and began mixing it with my fingers till it became all soggy and began digging my fingers and made a lumpy mixture such that people sitting on the table eyed me like I was an alien. Siddhesh was allergic to fish. He couldn't tolerate the smell of fish too and I knew he will run for his life having the fact that this fish smelled already sick and I was sitting next to him... I could see his friends and neighbours hush hush gossip and making faces wanting to vomit and I loved the attention Mr Siddhesh Pai's fiance...oops wife gathered right now. With the same dirty hands I turn around to see him...

'Jaaanuuuuuuu seee...this is soooooo tasty...wanna eatttt... come let me feed you' I smashed the sphagetti and fish more in that ugly gravy such that the food on my plate looked so unhygienic to me that I myself didn't want to take a bite...I made a morsel and took it close to his lips...

I could see his expressions were hard...
I was loving to see him embarassed infront of all the high society folks in his neighborhood and friends circle...

I smirked..
'Come on my darling husband...eat it na...see...I'm feeding you with loooove... after all I heard you are a broken heart and you worship the lady even after your little heart was broken awwwww you cute little baby boy...come on...see your goddess is feeding you... don't wanna have?' I asked and I could see slight glistening in his eyes...it pulled a string in my heart ...next minute he did the unbelievable...he bent and took the morsel of food and ate the ugly mixture from my hands...I was shocked.

He didn't complain a word. While I kept looking at him in horror...
He swallowed by still looking into my eyes...
'Feed me ...' he said softly and I quickly got up from my place saying...

'It had fish ..you are allergic to it'

He held my hand and made me sit...
'I said feed me Ragini...'  and I swatted his hands...

'Stop it...I was just teasing you...this is not good for your health... come with me...you have to take your anti allergy tablets before it shows reactions...

But he still kept looking at me like a lost lamb...I was getting scared now...I was furious too...so I pulled his hand and took him to his room...

The entire crowd kept looking at me...
My heart was beating so hard right now...I was scared to death...I couldn't forget last time how he was unable to breathe after he ate fish by mistake...i had to quickly find his anti allergy tablets before there is a reaction...

I made him sit on the bed and asked him at once...
'Where are the tablets???'

He didn't answer and kept looking at me...
I began searching here and there and couldn't find it anywhere...I digged through drawers and cupboards...

'I know you keep it Siddhu... where is it... tell me please you are scaring me now...' I shouted like a mad lady while tears kept falling down my cheeks...

'Why do you care.. let it be' he said and I stopped and turned around walking close to him...

'Shutup...I'm ..I'm sorry..ok I went a bit too far but please Siddhu ..you know it's risky... please tell me where the meds are...you are killing me now... please baby' I cupped his face and began shedding tears non stop...

While I heard him say...
'Then let me die'
