Backed up against a wall and my heart burns inside my chest. My foot reaches out for another rock but it finds none. I glance down at the abyss below; where darkness devours the light.

With nowhere else to go...

I turn back to the approaching enemy, staring them down with all that I have left.

When you've hit rock bottom...

I close my eyes and take one last breath, leaning back.

There's nowhere else to go... but up.

I fall into the abyss, the quickly fading light soon becomes a distant memory as the darkness swallows me whole.
