None of the pictures are mine in this fanfic and this will have gore, scary images and blood along with violence.

Now onto the story:

Cole tossed and turned on his makeshift bed as dreams of that day haunted him through the night. The day that turned Ninjago into hell and destroyed the peaceful lives that every single person built for himself. It also ripped Kai away from them...no, away from him. How he missed his smile, laughter and beautiful eyes that showed the fire that burned deeply inside of him. Only for that fire to burn out when they lost that fateful day with only a single arm to be found. Even now, he could hear his voice which always says:

It's all your fault.

It's all your fault.

IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!

It has plagued him every single day as he tries to keep the team and other masters alive. It is still difficult, but they owed it to Kai to make sure that this newest threat wouldn't succeed. He just needed to pull himself together to make sure that nothing splits them apart. Unaware that as he was thinking this, the forces were planning their next move.

(Castle of the Abyss)

Sounds of screams filled the air as a tall man walked through the halls with red eyes full of fury. He was ready to take over yet the resistance is still a massive pain to his plans. No matter, they will soon be dealt with and eventually his new partner and himself will rule this land with an iron fist. Eventually, the man came into a secluded room in his castle.

It seems like those ninjas are still being a massive pain to our...no, my plans. Well, you already knew that did you?

The man said to the person who was currently being transformed into his most powerful ally yet. They were in a glass coffin in the center which was surrounded by beautiful roses that were bathed in hellish fire. Normally, this would've burned them to a crisp, but with some magic...they were still intact and showed the beauty of the person in the coffin.

The ninja always had to stick their noses into other's business for the good of these worthless mortals. Now look at them, a shell of their former selves since one of their own died in a trap set by my general.

Once again, the man paused to look at the person in the coffin before continuing.

Who knew that they would be shaken by the death of one of their own? It just shows how pathetic, they really are. Well, I got to say that the fire one was the most beautiful of them all and could've been a great addition to my forces.

The man let this statement hang in the air while he remembered seeing the fire ninja in his throne room. He was fierce and was beautiful, but was like the rest of the ninja in deciding to help these pathetic vermin from their fates.

He mastered fire yet instead of using it to take over this boring and peaceful place....he decided to use it to help those mortals who walked around without a care in the world. I only feel pity for that ninja cause he was just another victim of those so called masters who have been satisfied with only preserving their so called peace. However, those teachings can be reversed with some...adjustments.

The man stopped speaking as he remembered the day where he received a nice gift from his general. Sure, it was sorta damaged...but he could meld it into something better. A being worthy of being by his side as he twists the world into his own image. Shaking his head, the man continued to speak.

Sorry about getting distracted, I was just rambling about something that isn't your concern. The red ninja is dead and soon the rest will fall in our hands. Though, it may take some time before you join in on my conquest.

The man said before he sensed a servant walking in before bowing down at him.

What is the reason why you've interrupted my talk with....

The man said before the servant started to speak at a monotone voice behind him.

"Your Royal highness, it's time for the meeting." They said while keeping their eyes fixed on the floor.

Sigh...I see. Guess I need to cut my visit short, but rest assured I will come back later to see how the progress on our future ally.

After stating this, the man turned around and walked out of the door leaving the figure in complete darkness. A couple of seconds passed before a spirit appeared touching the coffin with a saddened expression on their face before whispering....

Hopefully, someone will help me soon.

Before fading away before being spotted by one of the servants or guards walking the castle. Setting the stage for a series of events that will make or break the ninja in the coming days.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
