Oliver enjoys his alone time. This does not mean that he doesn't like hanging out with others, it just means that he values time to himself sometimes. He also loves to skateboard. Oliver's life has been quite the roller coaster. He was the product of a one night stand. He never knew his father or heard stories about him. All he knew was that his father was a bad man. His mother shielded him from that, not wanting to cause her child any pain. Mary was a good mother to Oliver, always putting his needs before her own. The two of them lived in a crappy apartment. They struggled with money but they were happy. They always tried to make each other happy. Oliver got a job at a local convenience store when he was 15. His mother had protested and said he didn't need to but Oliver wanted to help with the bills. They were each other's best friend. Oliver planned to drop out of high school to work full time but his mother wanted him to finish school and go on to college. She saw his potential and thought he could change the world. When he graduated high school, he got a full ride scholarship to any college of his choice. He didn't want to go to college because he knew that his mom needed his help. Mary insisted that he went to college, that she would be okay. After a lot of convincing, Oliver decided to go to a university. He now stays in touch with his mother and visits every other weekend.
